Cad educated me on the value of houses in the Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, and Sandy area, taking me around in his car, looking in various houses in my price range. It was a learning experience I will not soon forget. When Cad found my house, he knew it was a good deal and called me at work. I didn't have time to go down to put money down, so Cad put $1000 down of his own money to hold the house. I arrived that evening to sign the forms for the offer. There was another Realtor that night that made a backup offer on the house, it was that quick, in a buyers market. If he had not put the $1000 down, I would of been the backup offer. He found what I believe was the best deal in the sub-250k market in Salt Lake City. The house has been great and is worth 20k over what I paid for the house, even after the severe economic downturn. At the time of sale, the bank estimated it was worth $50k over what I paid for it.
