Ultimately demanded $350 discount for a painful and frequently extended process. Many redos. Rarely felt like our questions/concerns were addressed or that they even cared. Never strived to do great work, rather they consistently tried to pass off the bare minimum that would result in us paying the bill. We ended up accepting a discount and an unfinished job just to be done with them. The floor tech left for another appointment; leaving some wood stain, some sandpaper, and instructions on how to finish the last bit of our project (who does that?!) They cut our carpet back too far (6" or so) in our closet. See pic. This is one of reminders we see everyday. Because of its location, we haven't paid to fix it. But still irks us. Another picture is of where the new hallway flooring doesn't fully line up with the threshold plank, all of which is new construction/installation. Their solution was to color match wood putty to fill in gaps. They did a great job of color matching, but the filler is noticeable. I don't know why there was gaps to start out with. It's all new construction!! The project manager said "his guys are really good at doing what they're directly told, but sometimes don't go out of their way to do a great job. These guys are just plain terrible! We went with Workman because a close friend loved their work. Strange how different our experiences were. Just be very careful with these guys. Make sure everything is documented. And be sure to be address problems and concerns, because there will definitely be many. I don't like leaving a negative review, but I'd rather be honest than polite.

We thought we could install a cork floor by ourselves, but quickly realized there was a knack we didn't have. I called Workman and they were able to squeeze me into an open spot the next day. The gentleman that came to the house and did the whole room in about an hour more than it took us to attempt two rows (he might have been at the house for 3 hours, MIGHT). The floor looks great and the price was nothing short of amazing, certainly a lot less than the aggravation we would have had trying to figure out those click-together boards.

I have used workman for all of my floor covering needs for years. They have great products both High end and affordable. I have searched for items in other places but you cant beat the service and professionalism of Tony Workmans team.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! I was going to go with another color, but Hugo put down a "light brown" that he suggested I consider. After consulting with several neighbors, they agreed that this color which I never would have even thought to ask for, was the best option. Needless to say, the color is stunning. A custom color that Workman Floors does. I didn't want to go too dark because it makes rooms feel smaller and they are hard to keep clean. I didn't want the traditional golden oak color either.
Hugo is one hard worker. He worked nonstop from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm or later to get the job done within a small window of time (my family was staying at a hotel for a specific time period).
I did the matte finish which is very classy and a more updated look than than the traditional gloss finish. I have already recommended Workman to my neighbors and to my sister.

The work was nicely done. They did a great job and were careful while in my house not to damage anything. They left the areas that they repaired in good condition and clean. The price was approximately what the bid was for over the phone as well.

They were supposed to deep clean my floor. I purchased a groupon coupon, but it was not for as large of a floor as I have.
When the owner came to talk to me, I got a very different impression of what deep cleaning meant than what was performed.
All they did was clean my floor which I could have done myself instead of
spending the money. Don't waste your money on a deep clean.
The owner also said that he would tell me how to keep my floors clean and the guys who cleaned the floor did none of that.
Overall, dissatisfied.

As any company who values their clientele, most of our business is repeat and referral. We have tried to approach Bernice and offer her free services to make her happy - we know this is key to our growth and success, even though we will lost money doing so (in the form of materials, time, and labor). Unfortunately, not only has Bernice refused all of our attempts to reach out, she never paid for her balance. We feel this is the true motivation behind her review. A free ride at the expense of our reputation and pocket."

They came in and did the work. Everything looks fine. I don't have any complaints. They were prompt and got here on time when they were supposed. They took care of everything. It was on their list. They fixed things up and they were gone. It didn't take that long. They were good and they did a good job. I don't have anything to compare with their price. The service was good. They were very professional.

"Being one of the best companies in the state, we are used quite a bit by other contractors and even other wood flooring firms. We love doing this work, but sometimes it is not ideal for us. Purchasing materials through other companies eliminates a lot of our ability for quality control. Likewise working as a subcontractor, it is up to whomever hired our services to run the job - we simply supply the labor. Ultimately meaning, quality and responsiveness weren't entirely our mantle of responsibility on this job."

The crew chief (Danny) was very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. The crew was prompt and careful. Phone calls were returned in a reasonable amount of time. We will definitely hire them again when we re-do our other hardwood floors.

Overall, the work went very well. They did what they said and stuck to the price. I had a wrinkle that came up later on my floor, but they handled it appropriately. I would use their service in the future if needed.
