Village cleaners cleaned and pressed my pinch pleated draperies.  When I picked them up, nicely hung and encased in a plastic bag, they said there was no charge but the girl didn't know why.  She asked if I had prepaid, I didn't recall prepaying..  I made sure she had my phone number in case there was a mistake.The next day I undid the draperies to rehang.  They were clean with no spots.  The problem was the pressing.  They pressed some pleats on a slant - a 5 inch slant.  The other parts were just huge wrinkles firmly pressed into the fabric.  I have never seen anything so completely botched.Since they hadn't charged, I didn't complain.  I thought I would just spend the time repressing them myself.  Unfortunately, some press lines would not disappear.  When I hung them and attempted to finger pleat them, I realized that the outside edges had been stretched and would no longer hang straight.  The drapes are. without question, ruined.  It is very frustrating.  They didn't charge me for a service they preformed, but ruined the very thing they were hired to improve.  I could take them to another cleaners, but feel certain the edge stretching will persist and after investing money into cleaning and pleating the second time, they will still need to be replaced.
