Vama Flooring

Very well, we wanted to do the protective coats ourselves to save money and they gave very good advise on how to do that and the best products to use.

It was quick and we could walk on floor immediately. I was hoping for a shinier floor but he did not use wax and our flooring is 32 years old (entry) and 17 years old (kitchen/dinette). He also said that they did not wax as if I wanted to refinish the wood, wax would make it more difficult.

Sam was great - curteous, prompt and knowledgeable.

Wow! Vahe is truly an amazing professional. He is both committed to quality and full of heart. I sent an online inquiry after choosing him based on Angie's List reviews and he called me within an hour. Then he came out to do the estimate the same day. He listened carefully as I described our situation and needs, and he found a solution that met our needs and was extremely cost-efficient. Today, his team installed our new floor and it looks amazing. I am especially grateful for their attention to detail. The baseboards were reset and recaulked. Everything was cleaned up. Extra flooring boards were left for our use. The room is ready to use. I highly recommend Vama Flooring. What a pleasure this project was!

Vahe with Vama Flooring was great to work with. He was so helpful with explaining our install to us, and was prompt and responsive to all of our questions. He did a great job on our install, and worked with us on our complicated schedule. They were also very reasonably priced, honest, and were willing to go above and beyond to make us happy. I would highly recommend Vama Flooring for your flooring needs. A++ Service! Also, if you are installing CORETEC Luxury Vinyl flooring these guys know the material very well and Vahe has been to seminars on how to install properly (which is hard to find because the product requires a specific install and is new to the market).

They were the least expensive out of 3 estimates and they went out of their way to install a brand of flooring that they don't usually work with. They communicated well, always answering the phone or returning my calls or texts right away. They showed up on time and completed the job in one day. Everything looked great, but the stair nose from this particular manufacturer was not high quality so they found a different stair nose and replaced it at no cost within a few days.

Overall very satisfied. We had some issues with details, but this were rapidly dealt with and fixed. My wife would have preferred a slightly different stain in the end.

The vendor was very easy to communicate with when setting up the appointment. He was punctual and very professional. Service was performed in a very timely manner and he was very friendly.

Hire these guys!!! Vahe and crew know their trade and are very customer service oriented and our new floors are gorgeous. It was a pleasure working with them.

The installation went well. The floor is beautiful.

It was fine except when they came out to quote me they completely missed a room so I had to buy more material and pay more than was quote.

We bought a used house that had very old and worn out carpet that we decided to replace, hopefully before moving in. I contacted Vama flooring and talked to Sam and explained the situation that we would like to replace our flooring within the next week and a half before we move in. The next day Vahe, the owner came out and gave us an estimate and brought samples of flooring for us to choose from. Vahe is a very likable, upbeat, down-to-earth and honest guy. He was a pleasure to work with through the whole process and is very knowledgeable about his work. He said that him and a crew could pull all the carpet up in one day and could start the job in 2 days. The new flooring we picked out wasn't in stock so it had to be ordered. Vahe said it could be delivered on Wednessday and that they could have all of the flooring installed by Saturday except maybe the stairs. We felt like we could trust Vahe and agreed to move forward with the project. Everything went just as Vahe had said it would. Him and his crew work hard and long hours to get the job done on time, completely finishing the job and even a little extra without charging because Vahe thought it would add to the quality of the work. All of the crew were very respectful and kept the work sight clean through the process. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience with Vama Flooring, their customer service, quality of work, and our new floors!

I talked with Vahe on the phone about the company and, as if all these positive reviews aren't enough to make anyone choose VAMA, he made me feel sure I made the right choice. Sam met with us ahead of time to show us stain colors and secure the date the work would be done. He met with us again at the house to check out the condition of the floors to be refinished, and made a great suggestion for fixing the transition between the kitchen and an adjacent room. Vahe met us at the house after the floors were finished. They are both extremely knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. We went with a stain color Sam helped us with and we could not be any happier with the way the floors have turned out. We have more work planned for VAMA flooring in the future.

I found Vahe on Angie's list after a lot of research on flooring contractors in the SLC area. It was obvious that he put a huge effort into his website with a lot a attention to detail. I figured this was a great sign. Vahe came out to give me a big on about 2000 sq ft of flooring for a major remodel project on a home that I had just purchased. Being a new home owner, he did a great job of educating me on my flooring options and listened to what I wanted. I showed him samples of flooring I collected. He instantly knew what he would work for me. Vahe e-mailed me a bid that same evening, and his numbers fell right in the middle of what I was expecting. His bid was more thorough than others I had received. Vahe's communication throughout the process was spot on. I got no surprises, and when my landlord pulled a fast one on us and had us move out early, he was able to work with me to allow for an unexpected move-in during the middle of remodeling. One of the things that I appreciated most about Vahe was his willingness to think outside the box; he is a creative problem solver and both him and his assistant on the job worked incredibly **** ** my job. I really came to appreciate several things about Vahe. The man is a perfectionist and has a keen eye for design. He had my best interests in mind and truly wanted my job to turn out as beautiful as possible. He absolutely accomplished that, and everyone who has seen my floors has fallen in love with the results. I chose a durable wider plank laminate that has help up incredibly to abuse throughout my remodel. When the job was all said and done, his estimate was exactly what I expected and what was communicated to me throughout the job. He's honest and trustworthy, and I wouldn't go to anyone else for any future flooring projects.

Vahe is a man who is determined to have integrity in the way that he works - he came exactly when he said he would, he was very responsive to my emails and phone calls, and his pricing was competitive. He was quick, detail oriented and happy in his work. I highly recommend him.

All the tile in the kitchen and hall were removed and the Pergo we used in the rest of the house was installed. The crew worked SO hard to get all the old tile out and it was amazing how fast it went! All the baseboards were removed and then replaced (and I've heard that many companies won't do that---they expect the customer to do it or hire someone else) and everything matches perfectly---you'd never know it wasn't all done at the same time! Vahe has been an absolutely life-saver! I was devastated when I saw just how horrible the carpets were once we moved in and all the furniture was gone and he promised that it would be beautiful. He kept his word then and each time he's done additional parts of the project and I recommend him to EVERYONE! Many companies make promises they don't keep, but here is a man who keeps every promise!

Vahe and his team were so friendly, efficient, and great to work with. They even finished a day early! Their prices were the best I could find and the service is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I needed new flooring in my rental property. I had an unrealistic timeframe. I called Vahe and he met me at the property that evening and gave me the bid. He helped me choose the laminate and color for the size of the house that night. Vahe and Robert were professional and their work was flawless. The color of the laminate was perfect for the size of the rooms. The installation of the flooring, quarter-rounds, and thresholds were perfect. At the end of the job, Vahe was missing a part he needed for the thresholds and the supplier didn't have it. Vahe kept me informed until he was able to get the part and install it. The job was not only completed in the unrealistic timeframe, the job was finished early. Seriously, I have never been so happy with any contracting service.  The floors are gorgeous.

Vahe was fantastic to work with.  He was very easy to get a hold of and great to communicate with, educating us step by step what to expect and answering all our questions very thoroughly.  He was also really funny, which made an otherwise stressful project much less stressful. 
His prices were incredible.  He pointed us to a flooring store where we could pick out what kind of flooring we wanted--the store was dirty and disorganized, so just be warned, but we felt that it was worth it for the great quality floors we got at such a great price.  But when it came to tearing out flooring and installing new flooring in our home, he and Robert worked very cleanly--always sweeping and vacuuming up all the dust and dirt around the project, which was soooo nice!  They both had such an attention to detail and quality that we really appreciated. 
Vahe went above and beyond to make sure everything was up to our standards and expectations, including all the baseboards and where the laminate met other areas in the house.  He also worked hard to meet our tight schedule we were hoping to have the floors finished by.  In the end we LOVE our new laminate floors (and so does everyone who comes to see our remodeled basement--they always comment on how nice the floors look).

Well, Vahe told us what time to expect him and he was there every time when he said he would. He is very professional very knowledgeable, and does awesome work. We absolutely LOVE, LOVE LOVE the flooring. And would recommend Vahe and his staff back anytime.  Vahe is very passionate about what he does ( and it shows) in his work. His staff is also very efficient and it also shows, they are consistently working ( no standing around time) . The cleanup was very smooth as well, they had everything cleaned and taken away.
 If you are thinking about doing a new hardwood floor in your home, I would DEFINITELY HIRE VAMA FLOORING to do it for you. Rest assured they will do a great job and YOU WILL be HAPPY.

Vahe was very courteous, prompt, friendly and professional.  His helper worked continuously throughout the project with very little break time.  I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and all aspects of the bid & buying process.  Very easy!  I will refer my friends to Vahe hands down.

WOW!  What a TERRIFIC job!  The came on time and finished on time.  On time and on budget!  They were very careful for the newly painted walls.  Trim work was TERRIFIC!  Vahe and his helper arrived when they said and finished on time.  They cleaned up after every day and left the house looking great!
