It seemed like the work performed and parts provided cost more than necessary...but I'm only a consumer.

It went great !  They had the tires in stock and made an appointment with me to have them put on. They were ready for me at the correct time and went right to work . In under an hour the tires were mounted, balanced and were on my van ! Their mechanics are the best , Neil's been there for as long as I can remember. It's nice to see familiar faces of quality help. Mike set up my appointment and had everything organized to the letter. These guys are just great to work with. You won't be disappointed with the quality or service here.

my first angies list review - avoid - they replaced tires for me, put the old ones in my back seat with torn plastic bags and left dirt/oil marks on the upholstery.
customer service rep refused to help.  said "do you see how busy we are, we have enough customers"
asking the credit card company to put hold on payment till this is resolved.

It went well.  My question is, How was angies list supposed to help on this.? was a discount come with this service?

They made no attempt to sell other products or repairs.

My son's experience with Utah Valley Tire was very good. It was great. They knew what they were doing. The price was as good as you could get. We would use them again. 

They called me an hour after I dropped off the car and told me that my alternator and battery were ok and that a light in the dash would not turn off and this is what drained the battery. They could have easily charged me for a new alternator and I would not have known the difference. I have gone to them for 25 years and always found them to be very honest and professional. I regularly recomend them to my friends.

THOSE GUYS ARE GREAT ! JIMMY WATERS THE OWNER GREETED ME AT THE COUNTER.(HE'S FAMOUS FOR AUTO RACING FYI). HE AND HIS MANAGER MIKE GOT MY VAN IN PRONTO...
THEY HAD ME ON THE ROAD IN 30 MINUTES OR LESS!
THEY HAVE A NICE SEATING AREA WITH TV , AND REFRESHMENTS.
WE HAVE HAD THEIR MECHANICS DO SERVICE ON OUR VEHICLES TOO. FRONT-END ALIGNMENTS AND OIL CHANGES AS WELL AS REPAIRS... SAME GREAT SERVICE !
THEY HAVE 2 LOCATIONS, I USE THIS ONE AND I'VE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED FAIRLY. THEIR PRICES ARE GREAT!

The individual was polite and courteous and explained all options to me.  I researched costs at other garages and these guys were by far the best deal in town.

The Company was quick to provide information on the phone and in person, provided me with multiple options, filled out a rebate form for me, and was able to install new tires in less than an hour, all before 9:00 am.
