There was miscommunication that USI cleared up and it went very well.

Poor communication. Unreliable. Poor systems in place. Said that when I was ready they could come with 3-4 days then changed to 7 days. Then did not show up on the day I had stayed home to be there for them. Said they ran out of insulation. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

They did an excellent job. They were on time and very conscious about keeping the house clean while they were working. I was impressed that they covered our stairs with plastic and cleaned everything up before they left.

Came to my home and actually got up in the attic and walked around. Previous companies that came had to use my ladder and just looked through the attic scuttle and guessed what I needed. After his assessment he recommended the cellulose which I preferred already and their price came in over $800 cheaper than the previous company. I scheduled the work for the next week, they showed up the day and time they promised and the work was completed without incident. I would use them again for my insulation needs.

It went okay for the foam part. but when they patched up the mortar it made my house look like it had chicken pox. I called Ryan and explained I was not happy then sent someone out to fix it but it made it worse. I sent them pictures and they were shocked by what their guys had done. They had tried to cover the spots by smearing more mortar and now it was all over the brick...They sent a top notch guy over to fix it and match the old mortar better and I couldn't be happier.

Overall, I was very pleased with the work they did, although I did have one problem. I had a small window of opportunity for them to come blow-in insulation in my home attic. As there really is no access to that space, they had to come out while my roofers were out there and they could get in. Ryan was my rep and he was very responsive to the ever-changing timeline due to the weather. He knew I was interested in the rebates and assured me that his office would be sending me the needed paperwork that I could submit for reimbursement. He gave me an estimate for the job based on a view from outside the house. Once he had access to the attic, he went up to give me a more accurate estimate. He told me there was more insulation up there than he had imagined, but he thought I should stick with the original bid he had given me. I agreed, and we proceeded with the work the next day. The workers were very professional and got the job done quickly. My roofer checked the work for me and told me they did a good job.
The problem came afterwards when I received the paperwork from their corporate office. Due to the amount of insulation I already had in my attic, I did not qualify for half of the rebates. My rep knew that was important to me, but he failed to mention to me that I would end up paying most of it out of pocket. I would have appreciated the opportunity to make that call myself but this information was never communicated to me.

As Superior truck was backing into my very narrow driveway, it hit my neighbor's roof and damaged the fascia board. The general contractor, Dwelltek worked with my neighbor on the repair until she was satisfied. Superior sent two technicians, estimating that the removal would take one day. Due to the extra difficulty of the fiberglass bats and also large wood splinter debris from a previous roof repair, the work took the better part of 2 days. Later, after I had some electrical work done in the attic (different contractor), Superior came back and blew in the cellulose material to give an R50 value as recommended for the Salt Lake Valley. The guys were very hardworking and polite. It's dirty work and I appreciate them a lot.

Sunroc was very professional and prompt. The reason for the "B" rating rather than an "A" was that they missed one corner of the attic and had to return to finish the job several days later.

They were $1000 cheaper than the other companies that I begged to come and do the work. They had to drill holes between the bricks in order to fill it in with the mold and one of the guys had filled it with very bright color. I complained to the sales rep about this, and they came back and made a bigger mess out of it. The gentleman that came to put the mold was extremely good and professional. He saw that the mold was going to dry, and it had become very light. I told them about this, and they said they will figure out something for that. They sent some other people and made another mess all over the wall. I was not happy at all. They sent another company who power washed the brick. They really went out of their way to fix the problem. They apologized for that. Now you can’t even tell that there was damage in the wall. It was hard to match the brick as it was very old, but still they fixed it. The sales man Ryan was extremely good. He did above and beyond of what he could to make sure everything was correct. When he was not here he called to make sure that everything was fine. He also helped me with some other problems I had and did not even charge me for it.
