Sugar House Moving & Storage

Terrible van line. Every piece of furniture that was not boxed was gouged, scratched, and dented upon reciept. Items were taken apart that were picked up in one piece and the hardware lost. Other than fast delivery this was the worst van line I have used in my six moves in the last 18 years. I will never use them again.

They were excellent from the start. The estimator left me with a printed copy of the estimate, which he said might be high as he did not want any suprises for the customer. He knew exactly what needed to be done, was clear about storage conditions and moving expectations. The movers came when they said they would and were extremely careful. They took apart all my Scandinavian furiture being careful to put the screws and bolts back in the holes for easy reassemble. All artwork was put in mirror cases, all fabric furniture wrapped in saran wrap and everything seemed to go smoothly. We are on the 10th floor so this is not an easy move. My electronic piano went into piano storage. I was dreading this experience, but it went much better than I expected. Way to go Sugar House

I really liked them. They were prompt, on time and hard working. The move was very smooth. I would recommend them. They were reasonably priced.

They were timely in coordinating everything with us. They showed up on time and helped us pack up some things before we put the house on the market.

These movers were fabulous. I worked with Robin in the office to arrange the move and she was very professional and helpful. The movers arrived on time and worked straight through for 8 hours taking only two short breaks. They charged the time when they arrived not when they left their office and ended when they finished unloading the truck. They protected all the furniture and the flooring in my new house. I would highly recommend this group to anyone scheduling a local move.
