August 2018 to October 2018 For 30 plus years my husband and I had talked about extending our eat-in galley kitchen and adding more storage. The tiny pantry was too deep and dark, making it impossible and frustrating to find anything inside. We barely had room for a small table and 2 chairs in the eating space. In addition, we also wanted to add a roof over our existing porch with a large post at the corner. After calling many contractors with no one available to do the addition, Jared Parker at Silverado Construction answered the phone. He showed an interest in our project and we arranged to meet in person. After meeting and going over the rough drawings we provided, plans moved forward from there. Jared and his crew, Josh and Todd, were extremely easy to work with. They were respectful, accommodating and always ready to listen to any concerns we might have during the entire process. Their workmanship and attention to detail is of the highest quality. The addition was completed in 7 weeks and consisted of a dining area in the kitchen approximately 8'7" wide and 8' long. They also built a roof with a large corner post over the original front door cement porch. We can honestly say the entire project was completed with no problems, including all the sub-contractors work. We have enjoyed beyond measure the views out our new south facing windows, including beautiful sunsets and rainbows after all the rain we have had this Spring 2019. We would definitely recommend Jared Parker, Josh and Todd if you are thinking of any additions or renovations.
