Shawn returned my call within 12 hours of me contacting him through Angie's List. He gave me an estimate on the phone (the final bill was less than his estimate, probably because I thought the pipes were broken due to a freeze). We set up an appointment, he arrived on time, and fixed the problem. I'm very happy with his work. (FWIW, he's a one-man business which I like.)

Sean was great! He was right on time and did a good job explaining what the issues were. We also needed a line "snaked" and he helped me contact someone. He showed me how to do some of the winterizing on the sprinkler system too. It's awesome that he does not only indoor plumbing, but also swamp coolers and sprinkler systems. We thought his price for all of the work was more than fair.

Shawn was very very good: showed up on time and got the work done in a timely and correct manner for a very fair price. He would be the only one I would consider calling if I had another problem with plumbing.

I cannot remember all the details but I know at the time he did explain exactly what needed to be done. He talked to my husband on the phone and between the 2 of them they decide the best way and the cheapest way to repair the line. The biggest problem was the line had a very old and irreplaceable part and could have been quite expensive to repair. Shawn was more than willing to work with us.

Went fine.

Shawn showed up as scheduled, my wife tells me he got parts, and performed the work in a 1.5 hr time frame despite my four year old son telling him his life story the whole time. Professional, polite, speedy.

I can't remember the details, I just remember I liked working with them and would use them in the future.

Last was probably 4 months ago. He was coming up more on team. I use them all the time. He was on time, very professional takes care of the house has never scratched, never anything, he was just right there. They are professional and quality. All A's in every category.

Quick response to my voicemail message. Was able to schedule appt for the following day without much advanced notice - just in time for delivery of our new appliances. Shawn arrived on time, worked steadily, cleaned up after himself and even took care of winterizing my sprinklers although I had not thought to ask if he did that sort of thing until after he was finished with the original project. The Angie's List discount was generous and I am grateful for the savings!

Kitchen project was completed on time and on budget. I asked also that the water heater be serviced and turned on. This was a rental unit that had recently undergone repairs so the water has been shut off. Shawn told me the water heater was not connected and he would have to replace one of the unions and a drain valve. He gave me a quote for the additional parts and labor to get the water heater up and running.



This was all done in one day without my having to come out to the rental. When I showed up later that night to inspect the work the kitchen project looked fine. I haven't installed the dishwasher yet, but I suspect all the plumbing will work.



When I checked the water heater in the basement I noticed standing water on the basement floor. I called Shawn and he let me know when he was working on the water heater, water had spilled out but he had cleaned it up. He was surprised that I had found standing water on the cement floor. I cleaned it up and went home. The next night I drove by to check the water heater again and again, I found standing water on the cement floor.



Was I disappointed? Yes. I called Shawn and he asked if any of the connections he had worked on were leaking. I told him no; it appeared that there was a small leak in the water heater itself. He explained he was not responsible for any damage that may have already been there before he began working on it. I pointed out that I could appreciate that, but he was charging me for work, of which, I was not able to receive any benefit. No matter how good his work was, I couldn't use the water heater.



He appreciated my dilemma. We negotiate for a time and finally came to an agreement. Although, I could not use the water heater on which he worked I agreed to pay him for parts and labor and he, in turn, discounted his labor charges by $90. He didn't get paid his normal rate and I had to pay for a water heater I couldn't use but all in all I was satisfied that he treated me fairly. After all, he did do the work and his work was well performed, professional, and clean.



Above all, Shawn was fair and willing to work with me. I'll have to replace the water heater now, but that's just dumb luck. When I'm ready to install it, I'll call Shawn. I had a good experience with Shawn. He treated me fairly, we was pleasant to work with, and he completed the work in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing work. With so many contractors out there cutting corners and being unethical it is a pleasure to find an honest and courteous contractor who has high ethics.

The only reason I wouldn't use Shawn again is because of his pricing. I thought it was a bit steep for the minimal work he did. But he did do a good job and was very responsive, accommodating and professional.

He was the best plumber we have had lately. He was on time and willing to do the work even if we were not here. He said he would bill us. His price was fair.

Shawn was great. He was professional and did a great job. I'm thrilled to have water pressure again. I felt he was very reasonable. I would highly recommend him for everyone needing a great plumber. He is prompt and communicates. I would definitely call him for any plumbing problems I have in the future.

He was in and out in ten minutes and did a fantastic job.

Shawn was great to work with. We downloaded a coupon for 2 hours of labor. One of the problems was something he could not fix. He gave us a good referral, but we ended up paying $119 for just one small job.

Shaw was very responsive and arrived promptly at the agreed time, got to work and completed the work very timely.

I included Shawn among other plumbers in estimating the cost to replace the outdated plumbing in certain parts of my 1920's bungalow. His bid not the cheapest of the three estimates, neither was it the most expensive. However, I chose Shawn because of pervious personal acquaintance, and the knowledge that he wouldn't screw me, figuratively.
As expected, he was very prompt, brought along his latest in plumbing equipment, and explained to me technological aspects of the business that I was unfamiliar with before. On a personal note, he shared how he comes from a line of plumbers, and that he is carrying on the family tradition.
The old and rusting water pipes were removed and disposed of, and the new plumbing insalled within a day, so that inconvenince was kept to a minimum. If any major hurdles were encountered, I was unaware, and they didn't hinder his work. He also left me with a little gift as a token of his appreciation for having him over at my house that day. He lived up to my expectations entirely. before, during, and (especially) afterward.
I have since moved out of that house, but am confident that having updated plumbing done well was a strong selling point. I would definitely recommend Shawn to anyone who wants to have their pipes worked on, or even if they want their plumbing inspected and an assessment given.
