I recently had my roof replaced. Everything went as promised, the roofing crew was especially helpful, any and all old shingles were picked up from the lawn and there was no debris or any roofing materials left behind. The roof itself looks great and the whole house has more eye appeal. It makes me feel as if I have a new house.

Go else where as I had on overlay put on my roof 9 years ago for 6K as money was tight, but they guarntee that their work and their job. This is false. I called them up yesterday and theywill not come out to check the roof unless I pay them $350 bucks. They also told me the warranty of the shingles is through the manufacturer and not them, so they do not back up their work. So I had two companies come out that I got off of BBB and they checked my roof and both infomed me my shingles are fine, BUT! They did not put up any flashing as the shingles have a gap inbetween the house and where the shingle over lay stops. This means water is running underneath the initial shingles. No caulking, no flashing through out the entire roof. What a piece of @#$%^^.

Things went well with the bidding the stage and sales. Price was good compared to others we had bid. They were scheduled on a certain day but when I called to confirm the appointment it was not scheduled. I re scheduled the appointment. One thing that needs to be mentioned. The project manager, who scheduled the first appointment was no longer with the company and the new project manager, was a breath of fresh air. Very responsive and efficent. They came on time, were very through and cleaned up the yard from the demolition. Love the new roof and would use them again.

I've used S&S before. They were always just great. Always come right away to look at the problem, their prices are very fair (to the point that the last two jobs, I didn't even look for other bids!), they take care of the problem very quickly and professionally, they do a great job, and they are very pleasant to deal with.   Very recommended.

After a tenant called to say she had a leak in her celing, I called S and S roofing for an estimate. This was on December 13, 2012. They came out within three days and gave me an estimate; I accepted and wrote a check for approx. 40% of the job. Then winter hit! It was either too snowy or too cold to begin the job until January 25th, 2013. After starting the job, it progressed quickly and in professional fashion. My main complaint is that I always had to call the company for a scheduling update; I would've appreciated a more pro-active approach. On March 13, 2013 I did a "walk-around" with the company and agreed that all had been finished in a great manner and I was very happy with the work, employees and end result.

It was good, they were there when they said they would be and always returned our phone calls.

Though there was a small problem in the bidding process and a misunderstanding between the workers and the project manager, everything was resolved to my satisfaction.  The whole process was easy and, I feel, reasonably priced

Re-roofed our Sugarhouse bungalow.   Great experience, they were very communicative throughout the whole process and I believe we received good value for our money.

It was a weekend, and our skylight was leaking badly from snowmelt. I have to give credit to how quickly the crew responded on short notice, however they were only here about half an hour, and hit me with a $400 bill for squirting some silicone up there. It lasted a couple of months, and then started leaking again.

It was blooding freezing outside so I was worried we might get a sloppy job . They came out, never said a word about the cold, showed great patience, and Put the new siding on in no time. The guys from S & S Roofing were easy to talk To and walked me through what they had to do to replace the siding. They spent a good portion of the day at the house, and I was pleased in the end.

They came and fixed the leaky roof at a rental property. Priced fairly and was punctual. A few weeks later another leak appeared and they were able to determine another issue. At first I was skeptical that another problem appeared so quickly but they met me at the property and showed me the problem. They came up with a solution for a good price.

Work was scheduled to last 2 - 21/2 days and the work began on schedule on 6 Aug 2012.  The work went quickly and they were done that evening.  I can already tell the difference with the white membrane roof.  My central a/c runs less that half of what it used to and I fully expect to see a substantial reduction in my electric bill.  Everyone was VERY professional, noise was kept to a minimum and the job site was cleaned up enough to make a Marine D.I proud.  My only regret was that I did not do this years ago.

Overall I'm  very pleased with the work that S&S did. My only problem was that the bid did not include putting siding on the garage door.  I thought it did. I paid to  have all four sides done and I thought that was what I was getting.
 I had to find someone to paint it and it cost me $230 on top of what I had already paid. My whole reason for putting up the siding was to not have to paint the garage any more and the door is the only part of the garage that you see from the street is the door.
 My only wish would have been that the rep. who gave me the bid would have been clear about that and maybe I could have found a way to only wrap 3 sides and have enough money left to paint the door. When I called the rep. he said they never do the door itself and that he was sorry I didn't understand that.

The workers arrived on time, worked steadily until 3/4 of the roofing was torn off and replaced with decking and tar paper.  The next day they completed the tear-off, shingled almost all of the house and the third day involved finishing and installing vents and cleaning.  I have never seen anyone work so hard and steadily as these roofers did.  It was apparent that they were extremely skilled and they were very accommodating.  A small glitch in the estimate did not diminish my satisfaction in the overall experience including my exchange with the office manager, the estimator, the roofers and other workers involved.  I will hire them again.

The workers came to repair a circular part of my roof.  They removed bar tiles, and created a totally new roof in that area.  He found a reddish color shingle to match the rest of my roof.  I am very pleased about the work and the company!  Thank you S & S!

I received 4 bids for the job.  S&S had the best offer, but that isn't the only reason I elected to use them.  In researching what roofing company to use, I learned that S&S has an A+ rating with BBB, positive reviews on Angie's List, and has been in business since 1981.  They have been in business longer than the other 3 competitors I had contacted, which have the most positive reviews on Angie's List. 

Randy with S&S was knowledgable and always available.  Some of the other bids appeared to elude there would be hidden costs.  Randy's bid did not.

S&S finished the garage roof, tear off, redecking, and reshingling of the house roof in 3 days.  The crew cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day.  When they cleaned up after finishing the job, they left my yard cleaner than it had been when they first arrived.  They went above and beyond by cleaning out my basement stairwell, porch, and around the A/C unit.  When I saw how clean they left it, I was amazed.

As for the workmanship, I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did.  The new roof's look terrific.  When they redecked the house, they had to take down some rain gutters.  I was planning on rehanging them when they left, but when I returned home, I found they had put the rain gutters back up for me, better than I had done on my own.

I would definitely use their services in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

They were very good, and the work turned out okay. They got there right away and finished quickly. They did decent work, and the price was reasonable. I was over there yesterday, and they had still not cleaned up the mess. Basically, when I called them, they said they were going to do it yesterday. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They've always been really great to work with. I know that they do commercial and residential work. They are very prompt in their service, very friendly always and very convenient. They are technologically good because we are able to get all of our invoices by email, which I like.

i was going out of town and had this roof problem where water was coming in.S&SRoofing came out that day to give me an estimate on a 30x30 room.they had the roof torn off and new shingles put down in 2 days no hassles..Fantastic job!I highly recommend this company.fair ,reasonable price.

We are pleased with the result. They used an ample amount of ice shield in vulnerable areas of the roof. Our property was cleaned up very well after the roofing project was complete. The dumpster of old roofing materials was promptly removed. We appreciate the attention to detail, like extending shingles 1/4 inch beyond drip edge to force water away from the roof's edge. The back office support personal were very responsive to our requests for receipts, etc.

They started out by giving us an estimate and going over what they were going to do for us. I was very pleased with how courteous and polite they were. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.
