Timely estimate, good sales materials, including references. Price in line with other estimates. Plenty of contact upfront. Started on time. Kid who did the actual work (sanding, sealing, 2 coats water-based finish) worked very hard, stayed late, but I was very unhappy with the finished product. I don't think the floor was sealed properly, as the grain was raised to touch and look. I called the next morning to ask for inspection. Original salesman came to inspect, told me it was "typical of water-based finish", which I knew it was not, from his sales literature and from seeing friend's refinished floors. Had to ask for the owner, who sent over most experienced re-finisher to inspect, who agreed they could do better. They screened and applied a 3rd coat of finish at no charge, but the finish is still not as good as others I have seen. So, I spent 2 grand, 12 days living in the basement, and feel disappointed. On a brighter note, it truly was nearly dust free!
