About us

Polished Image was started in 1986 in Murray, Utah. Polished Image is one of Utah's best and only stand alone auto detail shops in Utah. Sine 1986 Auto Detailing has evolved into a business that is not only for the dealers in the great state of Utah but for the individual car owners who are looking to restore, clean or just get a car wash for their automobile. In 2010 Polished Image relocated to the Auto mall in Sandy, Utah in order to make way for a new dealership in Murray, This move has been great and in order to better serve our customers we opened a few more auto detailing service centers along the Wasatch front. In 2011 Polished Image incorporated windshield replacement and repair and opened a new store in Salt Lake City, Utah. This new addition to our company is because you asked for it. Excellent service and excellent work!! We purchased the bronze package! They also now do auto body work, which we haven't had the need for. Definitely would recommend them if you would like your automobile to look like new again! The price is based on the size of your truck or car.

I purchased a groupon to use with Polished Image. The detail job was really not much better than a regular car wash. They did not treat any of the tires or trim. The polish showed lots of swirl marks. The staff did not want to address any of the issues and I received no response from my e-mail. I thought that this was a one time issue, so I took my wifes car in and had the same experience. I would not recommend the sandy location.

"We apologize for your expirence with us, but as it appears your services were in October 2011 and we are just now finding out about it, I am not really sure how much we can help you. Issues needs to be reported at the time of the appointment or in a close proximety so that we can handle them appropriatly and make sure proper steps are taken to prevent future issues from occuring. I can assure, we now have a full system in place to handle any and all issues to have them handled as quickly as possible."

Called up and made and appt. Service was fine. Dropped car off. Picked car up. All after hours. Work was perfomed correctly and on time. The only complaint, and it is minor, is that they failed to clean/treat the inside of the glove box lid. You can see the dirt/dust when you open it. This is the only reason I gave them a B on Quality and Overall (I only give out A's for perfection). Really not a big deal. If they had an A- I would go with that. I would use them again.

We used the Salt Lake Location and the service was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The only small issue was the delivery time was a little late but well worth the wait. (They were missing staff that day) The only thing I would recommend is to schedule your appointment well in advance as they fill the schedule quickly.

Our SUV had not been hand washed in three years, the inside had all the gunk you'd expect in a family car, and the passenger side had paint from a run-in with a pole. Polished Image made our car look and smell new. The inside is bright, clean, and smells good; much better than I could ever do on my own. The outside of the SUV was transformed. The paint is gone and the hole SUV shines like new. Removing the paint was extra, but completely worth it. Even though they didn't skip any details, they finished the job more quickly than they quoted. They work quickly and efficiently, the office staff is nice, and their price was very reasonable.

Car looks brand new. Recommended some additional services where there are some very small potential rust spots, did it in a very low key manner, without pressure and where completely understanding when I declined (due to time). By appointment I was able to drop off car at 7:00 am and pick it up at 9:30 am. It is nice when a business works around my crazy time schedule.
