NORTH SALT LAKE MARBLE & GRANITE

I can't say enough about North Salt Lake Marble and Granite.  We were in the middle of a total kitchen remodel and found out we had been scammed on the granite countertops we had ordered and had paid for.  After researching other countertop companies, I contacted North Salt Lake Granite and Marble.  The owner, Kevin, came out the very next day and took some rough measurements to give us a bid.  He gave us a couple of referrals so that we could go and hand pick our granite slabs.  North Salt Lake Marble and Granite does their own fabrication and installation; I was happy to hear this because so many companies sub out the fabrication.  Anyway, we had our countertops and window sills installed in just 2 weeks from the time I signed the contract.  There were some glitches with the window sills that required some creative thinking on Kevin's part, but he figured it out and we're so happy!  Kevin and his crew are friendly, hard-working, and professional.  I can highly recommend North Salt Lake Marble and Granite!

The owner maintained daily contact with us and always called first with recommended changes before executing them. The owner helped us select the granite so as to minimize wastage. The owner made detailed measurements and cardboard templates. The companies employees cut and polished the granite. The company owner and employees installed the granite without breaking any of the wall to wall vanity mirrors. Installation took 5 hours. The final cost came in at $400 under the original estimate.

I talked to a number of fabricators and stone suppliers all around the Salt Lake/Davis area in my search for a custom bathroom vanity top. Large slab yards were little help since I didn't need a full slab and visiting the scrap yards (bone yards) yielded few choices. Kevin at North Salt Lake Marble and Granite was terrific, showing me around their yard and moving various slabs so I could get a good look. Their price was very competitive and Kevin was extremely helpful in discussing with me the best way to handle some unusual cuts we would need to accommodate the peculiarities of the cabinets. I worked with a dozen contractors in this master bath remodel and Kevin was the only one that was as much a perfectionist as I am. The counter looks amazing. I have no hesitation in recommending Kevin and North Salt Lake Marble and Granite for any kind of fabrication job.
