Moving
If you want to overpay for a Company that does not deliver what they say or contractually commit to, these are your guys.
Mountain States promised a move service-process that simply did not happen. It was a complete misrepresentation.
Mountain States Moving and Storage for my interstate move:
1. Stated unequivocally that an Atlas driver would pickup my household goods, the truck would then depart for NM, (there "could" be an interim delivery) and contracted delivery would most likely occur in 2 days but no more than 8 days.
Not true: Goods were picked-up on promised date, only to sit in Mountain States Salt Lake City parking lot for 8 days!
2. Promised "don't worry, we will take care of you". Not true: When the movement of my goods did not occur as promised and Mountain States contractual service commitments started to go sideways, there was no proactive follow-up by Mountain States whatsoever. In a classic bait and switch, Mountain States advice was to "call Atlas Corporate, it is their problem". There were no Mountain States employees even available to provide ANY status or update from Friday through Tuesday morning.
3. Mountain States Atlas explicitly promised that the price would ratio linearly with weight. Not true: reducing weight increases the per-pound fee, resulting in an unexpected 5% price increase.
Mountain States promises what they cannot deliver, and then pass the buck to Atlas-Corporate as soon as it starts going wrong.
Next time I will go with the "fixed price" bid guy, and never again will I use Atlas or any of their sub-brands. They don't deliver and they don't stand behind their promises.

Moving, Professional Moving Service Piano
I called them and they were able to come out right away. I think that they were really good about moving everything. They even moved my piano through a tough space. I thought it was great that they covered a pathway on the floor for them to walk.
