Charges were outrageous. Wanted $671 to replace copper supply line to cooler but could do it for $565 with plastic...I said no. My neighbor replaced it with $50 in parts. It took him about 35 minutes, one person job, no ladder needed. I paid another few dollars to my handyman to secure the line to the house. Maxfield said pump was bad & replaced it for $100. I took the pump out of the garbage, knocked some hard water deposit off it which took about 3 minutes. I set the pump in my kitchen sink & it pumps just fine. What I am grateful for is Maxfield cleaning the calcium deposits out of the cooler, which was an extra $100. I scheduled about 3 weeks ahead for this start up. They rescheduled with a delay of 4 days, which put us into the summer heat. Tried to reschedule a 2nd time, but I was insistent. Plumber said he likes working the Avenues because he likes old houses & "it's a good market." When he left, he left the swamp cooler running with water literally pouring off the roof from the burst supply line.

He did not put on the right part that didnt even work and broke the first time we tried to use it. didnt want to do the work that i asked him to do unless he could knock the wall out. they advertise that they do 24/7 service but wouldn't come out when we needed him to.

Their pricing is extremely high. It was not a very good experience. They didn't give us any paperwork for an estimate or receipt.

90 % of the digging was already done because the state came and dug out the main for us. The plumbers that were sent to our house proceeded to waste a complete day "digging' the hole out. My wife witnessed them sitting in their truck doing nothing for 3 hours. I reported this to the manager and the manager said my wife was mistaken and the bill was mostly parts. I reported this to the BBB a year ago and the company has yet to respond.

We had four plumbing issues, the day after Christmas. The owner found an employee who came right out and did an outstanding job. Great team
