The tailpipe on my old, foreign, car was dragging on the ground. I took it to Master Muffler in South Salt Lake and they provided excellent service. They fixed the car in about an hour - without an appointment. I was allowed under the car with the Manager to see exactly what needed to be done and what could be salvaged. Rather than order an expensive exact fit muffler for the car (it is very difficult to get parts for this car), they slightly modified the system so they could use stock parts. They also kept the still usable parts and only replaced the parts that had rusted out. This kept the cost to a very reasonable amount. Quick, friendly and fair service!

I recently had some problems with my 1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass and took it to Master muffler where I've also taken in my Toyota Corolla.The mechanics were knowledgeable with the car and it's needs.They always take good care of me I did have to get referred out to do an engine diagnostic for accurate results and I appreciate their honesty and the recommendation

I took my car in and they were so professional and friendly and HONEST! They processed my registration right there on location and even fixed the required part the same day. I really felt appreciated and that I was getting the best value for my dollar and finding an auto mechanic I can trust is HUGE! I will always go back when my car is in need of honest TLC.

I told them I failed my emissions, and they told me I had to replace the catalytic converter and that was for sure the problem. I later found out that's the most expensive thing to fix. That didn't fix it, so I took my car to CARMERICA and they said it was the timing $15. The timing was the problem. I wish I had taken it to someone who wasn't just trying to make the most money off of me first. Master muffler didn't care about my situation they just wanted to make as much money as they could and they were dishonest. If they were honest they would have told me to start with the cheapest fix first. I am stupid when it comes to cars as you can see, but I have learned the hard way thanks to master muffler. There other stores may not be this bad, and it may have changed since I went there, but that experience was enough to keep me from going back there. Management didn't hire honest people.
