Bill came out as scheduled and within the time frame and evaluated my situation. He checked for leaks and told me my furnace was safe. I was greatly relieved and hope to follow up with their company for repairs or replacement in the future. He was very professional and has significant experience in this field. He stated he has been with the company for 25 yrs. I was very pleased with the service.

Water Heater Service
Bill from Manwill came in on a Saturday morning for us (an after hours fee was included in the total price), and called me 30 minutes prior to arrival, letting us know he was picking up the new water heater and when he'd be arriving. I was able to discuss with him to make sure the costs and items were what I was expecting from the previous days phone appointment, and he showed up on time, and had the work done in 2 hours. Extremely friendly, nice, clean, and quick service to fully replace our home's water heater and expansion tank. Thanks!

Katy diagnosed our problem by allowing me to text her a photo of our unit, which saved a lot of time. She came quickly to personally explain our options. She was very friendly and professional and understood our concerns of fast, reliable and affordable service of a new unit that would work well for years. She truly has our best interests at heart. Our technicians were Dan and Alex and they couldn't have been better. Katy told them to treat us like family and they worked quickly to get our new furnace, AC, coil, thermostat and ducts installed, inspected and working perfectly. It was like a breath of fresh, cool air! And Katy handled getting us all signed up for a Lennox rebate that helped tremendously. She even reminded me to send her our gas bill so she could get the rebate to us sooner! Highly recommended team of professionals over there!

They showed up, "adjusted" the valve, and left, saying that it might fix the problem, and we'd see the next morning when the pipes either knocked or didn't. That's the first clue this is a problem. Here's the kicker : they left without checking to see if the water still worked. They knocked the water out to the whole building, by adjusting the pressure far below rated on a PRV that was already way out of spec for a 2 family unit (valve is normally one that you'd use on a single boiler, not to serve 6 beds, 5 baths, and 6 people). They didn't say anything about the valve being totally inappropriate for the use case, they just adjusted it way out of spec, didn't check to see if they broke absolutely everything else, said maybe it'd fix the problem, and left. When they were called back, they said they could have an after hours guy come out, at after hours rate + std. service call rate, to look at and diagnose the problem they'd caused. At *3AM*. No thanks. In the meantime, I'd been in touch on the phone with another plumber (see next review I'm about to write), who was talking me through diagnosing the problem on the phone gratis, was incredibly helpful and professional. We arranged for that company to fix the problem Manwill had caused, they showed up before 8:00 AM, confirmed that the entirely wrong equipment was installed and that it had been adjusted far out of spec, and fixed the problem for good. Maybe it's just because I'm an engineer, but being asked to fix a problem is your job. Doing that job doesn't mean showing up, twisting a knob, not checking to see if you blew up everything else, saying that it'd "maybe" fix the problem, and leaving. That's (a) not how systems work, and (b) is really bad customer service. I've used this company in the past for thousands of dollars of work. I will never call them again.

"After talking with the owner and our plumber the following morning (9/7). I waived the time spent on this job. We did not install the pressure reducing valve initially. Typically one main water line services one residence and our plumber did not realize the neighbor'[Member Information Removed] condo/villa was on the same meter. The HOA has control over the sprinkler system therefore there was no way to confirm the problem was solved until the next morning. Our plumber informed our dispatcher we may need to return in the morning and was ready to do so (if needed). We work very hard and do our best to prevent this type of situation from happening. My air conditioner stopped blowing cold air on a weekend. I called Manwill Plumbing and was lucky enough to get a technician to come around to look at it on a Sunday for a $50, plus the diagnostic fee. He found the problem quickly - I needed a replacement blower motor and wheel. He explained the issue thoroughly along with what the fix would entail. Then he broke the bad news - they didn't have parts on hand and would have to order them. He apologized and promised Manwill would get them in as quickly as possible and he'd come back to install asap. Given the age of the air conditioner (and previous repairs for it), i was not surprised that the parts would need to be ordered. The technician kept his promise and returned to my house 5 days later to install the parts. He apologized again for the delay, and answered other questions that I had about my AC unit. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would use them again. While

. E.J. took the blower wheel and housing outside and washed it out with a hose--something that no other furnace repair person had ever done. When E.J. took the nuts and bolts off of the belly band around the motor, they were stripped so badly that they were no loner usable. Instead of charging me $150 for a new belly band, E.J. said he would go and buy the correct nuts and bolts, then install them in a week. E.J. showed up a week later, with the correct nuts and bolts. He then installed the new motor in my furnace, and he did a thorough check to see if any carbon monoxide was leaking out--which showed no leaks at all. E.J. was highly competent, and he explained his work in a clear and helpful way. The next time I need any furnace work done by Manwill, I will request that E.J. be sent to do the work.

Perfectly! I couldn't be happier! Big THANK YOU to E.J. who checked with the manufacturer to see if the broken part (a very expensive part!) might still be under warranty. To my surprise and delight, it was. Beyond this great news, Manwill was responsive, professional, and friendly. A technician came to my house the same day I called, right at the scheduled time. Tyler patiently explained the issue to me, and answered all my many questions. He apologized that they would have to order the part and couldn't get it installed until a few days later. He set up the next appointment, and another technician (E.J.) showed up right on time with the part. He also answered all my questions, and shared tips for caring for my furnace. I hope to not have additional plumbing or HVAC issues any time soon, but if I do I will definitely call on Manwill again.

Kody and his helper deid a wonderful job. They showed up at the scheduled time - Kody called me in advance to tell me he was on his way. We recently moved into a condo and had some extensive upgrades done. The plumbing was done by a different plumber, but was not done to our expectation. We decided to have the plumbing inspected by Manwill. Kody did the inspection, taking photos. He explained what needed to be done to bring it all up to code. We schedule a day for him to return and do the necessary work. He and his helper were very respectful of our condo, laying down tarps to protect the floor, keeping the work area clean, and cleaning up afterwards. He went above and beyond to fix a couple of other problems and didn't charge more for the additional requests. The job was completed within the projected time frame and at the quoted price. My wife and I were both very impressed and will continue to use Manwill for our plumbing, heating and A/C issues.

Bill cam the next day after I called, first thing in the morning. Of course, the furnace then would not malfunction, but Bill carefully explained what he was testing and why and concluded that either the motor or the computer board might fail. He said this would not cause a fire or damage, but that we just needed to wait and they would keep the job open so that if/when they return, I don't have to pay another charge for a service call. He knew his business and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need.

This service was provided to our daughter who resides in West Valley City. I simply sought out a reliable plumbing company to assist her. She used Manwell and their work was fine with only concern being that it did require two trips in order to install new fawcett. The company promised her it would be the same employee but wasn't. No big deal as they did the work with no problems.
