I can't remember when we had the bid for the work done...but once we finally got the area cleaned out and ready to be worked on, the ball got rolling really quickly.  The insulation was installed first, then the drywall.  The drywall was also surfaced to match the rest of the basement all in one day.  The next day everything was painted.  The whole ceiling was painted to make sure that the paint matched.  After giving the paint some time to dry, the carpet pad was replaced and the carpets were cleaned.  Oh, also the new floorboards were put in too.
I am very happy with the work and service that Liberty Restoration provided.  I will definitely be using them again for the other room in the basement that also had mold/water damage...  I just need to clean out the area so they have room to work.

This was an insurance claim for damage that occurred to my home due to the strong winds of November 2011.  The Insurance company (Bear River) referred me to this company to do the work.
Overall they were incredibly unresponsive and unethical in their dealings.  Expected to be paid before the work was completed, and represented the insurance company more than the home owner.  It appeared the company wanted to do whatever it could to help save the insurance money, rather than determine an appropriate and lasting fix for the job at hand.
I understand the company gets a lot of referrals from the insurance company, and that they want to preserve that relationship. However, if that means the repairs are done inappropriately and with corners being cut, no home owner should accept a referral from their insurance company for Liberty Restoration.
They also lied in their billings.  When I had a company come out to do the curbing, Liberty Restoration told me the curbing company had billed them $150 for the job.  When I checked with the company though, they had only billed $80.  Seeing that this part was coming out of my own pocket (and not the insurance) I was upset they tried to bill me an additional $70.  In the end I paid the curbing company directly.  Liberty Restoration also refused to give me contact information for sub contractors that I had hired myself for them to do some additional work.  I had to call the phone company to trace calls to find out who had done the work and how much it was.
Additionally, the estimate and the actual work performed had huge discrepancies.  Liberty Restoration did an estimate to fix some pillars on my porch.  This was to come out of my own pocket and was not paid for by the insurance.  Liberty Restoration  said the pillars had to be lifted with heavy duty equipment, and rebuild.  They based their bid on that work order.  However, once they came to do the work, they only filled a few cracks with mortar on the pillar.  The job took less than 30 minutes, and yet the billed for the lifting of the pillars.  I would advice people to stay away from this company.  They are unethical, unresponsive and shoddy in their work.  If only one good thing came out of it, it was the sub contractor they hired to redo the siding.  Of course I could not give you the name of that company, because apparently that too is classified information.
My advice: run as fast as you can from this company!

This job was claimed on insurance so I haven't seen the bill as of yet. My Overall experience with Liberty Restoration was awful. I had a water leak into my vacation condo master bathroom from an above condo which damaged my bathrrom ceiling and wall sheetrock. Liberty, initially, did not protect my carpets or the other rooms of the condo when installing the sheetrock. They got sheetrock debris all over my freshly professionally cleaned carpets as well as sheetrock dust throught the condo. When I went to look at the job and asked for plastic to be put down to protect the carpets, the workers said they didn't have any. After I made a fuss, they finally found and installed protective plastic on the hallway carpet. The additional rooms were never taped off. When Liberty Restoration was putting plaster over the sheetrock seams and a base coat of paint on the wall, they used masking tape rather than painters tape which was of concern since they were taping onto adjacent high end faux painted walls. When I discussed my concerns with Randay Kendell, the point person in charge my my condo restoration, he pretty much towered over me, he is about 6'2" got in my face, I am a 5'6'" women, and told me he hires professional workers and that my concerns were not valid. When I asked him to take a step back because I was feeling threatened, he held his ground and thereafter, in fear, I took a step back. It was a horrible experience, the work was not professionallly orchestrated, and my complaints were met with outright bullying. Stay away from this company in my opinion.
