Jan and Fred Lowe were a tremendous help in helping us navigate the home buying process as first-timers, locating a home within our budget and heart's desires, and helping us close on a beautiful home that ticks every box of our wishlist. They are both incredibly patient, knowledgable, and gracious with their time. Fred has a contractor background, so he knows what to look for when entering and assessing the property, he's quick to point out anything amiss, and he treated us with respect and educated us as we went. Jan is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to scoping out the market, planning the offer, and negotiating the contract. Ultimately we came away smarter, and with a home that we will love for years to come. We couldn't be happier with Jan and Fred in our corners, and we will definitely be back, and continue to sing their praises to anyone we know looking to buy or sell a home.

My spouse and I were referred to Jan by friends. I made an appointment to meet her at our house and she came very well prepared with information about the cycle of the market over the years and seasonality of home sales. That was helpful information to inform us of the best time to put our home on the market. After we decided to use Jan she gave us pointers on how to stage the house for showings and communicated very well and honestly through the whole home selling process from showings, inspection, and appraisal. She and did an excellent job at scheduling showings back to back with possible buyers which helped sell the house more quickly and within five days. She responded to texts, phone calls, and emails usually within minutes and would share information she received quickly and responded back to other agents. She worked with a professional photographer which was a big help in showing pictures of the house and created a well designed flyer. In addition, she listed the house on independent sites such as KSL, Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, and others. This was helpful as the house was available for all potential buyers to see outside the MLS system that agents use. I was hesitant about using an agent to sell our home, but after working with Jan and seeing how much work she put into selling our house and getting more money than we thought was possible due to how she advertised and had the home shown we were very glad we hired Jan. By the end of our house selling process we even became friends. Our only regret is that Jan and her husband Fred (who helps buyers) can't help us buy a home outside Utah.

Jan and Fred were wonderful to work with.  Fred showed us houses with enthusiasm and a good constructive eye for detail.  Jan pieced together all the paperwork and contracts with grace and patience.  Everything went smoothly due to the unbelievably hard work they did for us during our house buying process.  I would recommend them in an instant.  It is obvious they enjoy their work and feel passionately about doing what is best for their clients.  They also went above and beyond to help us get to know the area since we were moving from out of town.  They gave us contacts to chat with teachers about local schools, and endless recommendations for things to do and see in the region.

Fred and Jan go above and beyond what is expected of real estate agents.  First of all, they sold our home in two days and they obtained a back up offer that pressured the initial buyer into proceeding quickly and to forego several requested repairs.  Although market conditions were largely responsible for the quick sale of our home, Fed and Jan navigated the situation perfectly.  They always placed our best interests first.  They protected our financial concerns and made it possible for us to stay in our home until we found a new home

 I can best describe Fred and Jan's character by their insistence that we not settle for just any house and that we wait to find our desired home.  Their financial interests were secondary to our home search.  They are not only professional and expert but wonderful people.  They form a great team.

Jan Lowe is a top-notch agent. I was buying a home with her as my agent, and I was nothing but pleased with the experience. She's very responsive, works hard to find things for you, and always makes you feel like you're the most important client when you're with her. My home criteria were a bit on the "difficult to find" side, but she never got frustrated and kept on working to find a home that fit. I trusted her negotiation skills and wasn't let down once. She knows her business and is extremely familiar with the east side of Salt Lake. Highly recommended.

Jan's thorough market analysis proved to be exceptionally accurate in the pricing of our home resulting in an additional $20,000 profit beyond what other realtors had estimated. We appreciated her advise on staging and negotiations involved with the sale. Assist2Sell was efficient in scheduling appointments to show our house while respecting the availability of our time. We truly believe Jan looked out for our best interests throughout this transaction and would wholeheartedly recommend Assist2Sell.

We met with Jan Lowe in May 2015 to list and sell our home.  Assist 2 Sell charges a flat rate (based on the sales price of the home).  This was around 40% of what a traditional agent would charge for a seller's fee.  I was worried what I might be giving up by using a lower-priced service.  The result was that we didn't give anything up.  If anything, our experience was better.  Jan was an experienced and professional agent who provided all the services I'm used to, just for less. We were also worried that, because Assist 2 Sell charged a flat fee, they may not be incentivized to sell our house for the best price.  However, based on market data, Jan was forceful in recommending that we sell our house for a significantly higher price than we initially gauged it to be worth.  We ended up listing it at a price higher than we had planned but still less than Jan recommended.  Our house sold in less than a day which, to me, was validation of Jan's market analysis and recommendations.  We've sold 5 homes, and this was by far the most smooth transaction.  We ended up with ~25K more at closing than we expected.  It's rare that you pay less than half the normal price for something and actually get better service...this was one of those rare experiences.  I hope the real estate industry moves more broadly to this model.  In the meantime, my advice would be to not be afraid to try this pricing structure out with an experience agent like Jan.  

Assist2sell was awesome at helping me find the perfect house for me.  I always felt like they had my best interests in mind when looking at houses both Jan and Fred were more interested in pointing out the pros and cons of different houses than getting me in a house to get their commission.  They were also very helpful in pointing out structural issues that the various houses had.  In the end Jan found a near perfect house for me in a neighborhood that I hadn't considered before, which turned out to be a great neighborhood.  I would recommend Assist2Sell without reservation to anyone looking for a house in the Salt Lake area.

Our agent, Chimgee Anderson, was amazing!  She started off with a
consultation but only after she had done her research to find out what
was selling, had sold, etc. in our area with regard to the condo
market.  Chimgee walked thorugh our home and asked a lot of questions
about what improvements had been made, etc.  Chimgee guided us in our
decision on our listing price which was very important as we did not
want to over-price our home or price it too low, she asked what our
objectives and priorities were before making recommendations.  Chimgee
was so easy to work with and we felt instantly that she knew exactly
what she was doing.  We listed and had multiple offers which Chimgee
helped us with, she negotiated with buyers agents but ultimately left
the decision up to us.  I can say without her help, it would have been
very easy to have made some important decisions based on emotion, she
helped us to understand the pros and cons of each situation, we have
never had that kind of help before and wouldn't think of selling/buying a
home again without her help.  Chimgee was extremely helpful in helping
us to also find a new home and met us on several occasions to look at
properties that met our requirements, she had a very good understanding
of the market and areas we wanted to look at.  We found our new home
very quickly and were impressed with how Chimgee interacted with the
seller and his agent, always very professional and with OUR best
interests as a top priority.  I want to also say something about the
others in the office, I spoke initially with one of the owners, Jan
Lowe, who was extremely helpful and spent all the time I needed even
though I had simply called to get an idea of what they could do for me.

After a disappointing experience with another realtor we took our home off the market briefly and, using Angie's List reviews, contacted Assist 2 Sell Professionals.  Chimgee Anderson met with us the very next day, armed with more market and neighborhood comp information than we'd ever seen (after buying/selling homes 3 previous times.)  She was so knowledgeable and professional, but also warm and funny and very understanding.  She went over our home in more detail than either of our previous realtors, noting features for the listing and asking questions.  She gave great advice for staging and explained the Assist 2 Sell process (which is slightly different than other realtors, in all good ways.)  Our home was back on the market, with tons of interest, in a very short amount of time.  We received multiple offers, accepted one, and began looking for a place to move.
Our target moving area was quite broad, we had very specific price requirements, and (of course) a long list of must-haves.  We are pretty high-maintenance clients, with a young daughter and work schedules and a semi-unreasonable expectation of what we were looking for.  Chimgee took us to So Many Houses, and was patient and honest and accommodating and fun!  Our daughter adored her and Chimgee went out of her way to make the process as painless as possible, despite our unreasonable expectations!
In the meantime, our first buyers pulled out of the sale and we had to put our house back on the market.  Chimgee was so understanding and supportive, and she helped us move past our disappointment and stay firm on our asking price.  We did get more offers, quite quickly too, and we sold our home a second time.  Chimgee's detailed and thorough market research was impeccable and it allowed us to ask for--and get--a fair price for our home, a price that would allow us to move back to the downtown SLC area.
Of course, once our house sold we were in a panic because we hadn't found a new place to live.  Chimgee literally took us to dozens and dozens of places; she was so patient as we looked at houses and condo's all over the valley.  We made offers on three or four different properties, all of which she facilitated, but were unable to settle on a home.  I can't stress enough how hard Chimgee worked for us and how she went out of her way to make us feel taken care of and supported, despite our incredible pickiness and our weird constraints and our list of must-haves.  She worked tirelessly with us right up until the day we found Our House and had her write up our offer on the spot (along with a houseful of other hopeful buyers.)  A short and terrifying bidding war later we were the happy owners of a house we absolutely love, which appraised for *significantly* more than our purchase price. 
One year later we could not be happier with our new home, or more impressed with Chimgee Anderson and Assist 2 Sell Professionals.  We have recommended their services to friends and family (my in laws used them in their own recent and very extensive house-hunt with great results) and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.  Chimgee is a spectacular realtor and a wonderful person.  She is professional, extremely knowledgeable, has the patience and wisdom of a saint, and works harder than you can imagine to make sure that the selling and buying process is as painless as possible, with the best outcome.  She far exceeded our expectations in every way and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

Using Assist2Sell in Salt Lake City to sell our home and purchase a new one has been a fantastic experience. I almost forgot to mention how much money she saved us! To sell a home in our price range for under $5,000 is amazing--and the service we received was better than a lot of the full-price agents out there!
