Jennie Ferguson

Jennie did a great job in helping my wife and I understand what we should do to make our home more presentable to buyers.  She guided us in what parts of the house should be updated, with painting, repairs etc to maximize return in price.  She also helped us in staging our place to make it look great.  Jennie is very knowlegable and her experience really helped us to sell our home in only a couple of months in the tough sellers market that was in place in 2010, and for an amount only slightly under the initial price. She is a great realtor who really knows the Salt Lake market.

Jennie worked like a dog to find us the right house in the neighborhood we wanted and within our budget.  I really respect her honesty and integrity; she always gives it to us straight.  She is not only awesome at her job, but the kind of person you want to have as a friend, which is a nice bonus.

Overall, working with her thus far has been an awesome experience. 

Jennie was great. Having just moved to Utah we were unfamiliar with the area. Jennie's experience and knowledge helped us greatly to understand the various neighborhoods and options available to us. We had very specific requirements and Jennie worked with us during the search. We were in no rush to buy the first house we saw and Jennie understood that. She was very flexible in taking us out and arranging a variety of houses to look at in many locations. The more we saw the more we were able to narrow our selection until that perfect house was found. Jennie handled everything related to the transaction and went above and beyond working with the selling agent when issues came up in the final walk through. Nothing was a deal breaker it just took extra time and Jennie helped all along the way. I would have no problem recommending Jennie or using Jennie for my next sale/purchase.

Jennie helped us with three separate real estate transactions and all were very positive experiences. The first transaction involved a house we saw the first day it was placed on the market. Jennie helped us determine a offer which secured the house in a competitive environment. She was very supportive throughout the entire process. We had not yet sold our current home and she listed the home and did a great job of marketing. The home sold very quickly, at a price higher than we initially expected. More recently she helped us search for and obtain a rental property. Jennie really listened well to our wants and needs. Her professional expertise made the process of buying and selling homes so much less stressful. I highly recommend her!  

We picked Jennie somewhat randomly by looking at some profiles on the internet, and boy did we get lucky.  We knew nothing about buying and selling homes when we met her, but she did an excellent job teaching us everything we needed to know.  We considered making offers on a few houses that we honestly weren't crazy about.  Jennie suggested that we wait since she knew we didn't LOVE the interior, and there were some issues that would affect their resale value (one was right behind the large movie theater on 3300 S. and another one was right next to a trailer park).  We were so happy that we listened to her because we ended up finding a house that we absolutely loved and that was perfect for us.  I would highly recommend Jennie to anyone looking at buying or selling a home.

This is the third time we have used Jennie.  She helped us buy our first home about seven years ago, she helped us sell that home last summer, and then she helped us find and buy our current home.  We love and trust Jennie.  She is amazing.  She worked very hard finding the perfect home for us.  She is very good at figuring out what you want in a house and finding something that will work for you.  She spent a lot of time investigating listings for us, and taking us to see new homes.  We also ended up in a bidding war over two homes, and she gave us very good advice on how to handle that situation.  We actually lost the first house that we made an offer on, but this was not Jennie's fault since we got into a bidding war on something that was at the top of our price range.  There were also multiple offers on the home we ended up buying; in this case we wanted to offer more than we did, because we wanted to blow the competition out of the water, but Jennie talked us down a bit and ended up saving us a few thousand dollars.



Overall, Jennie is hardworking, professional and intelligent.  She has a great handle on how things should be priced, and understands the factors that affect your ability to sell a home, and that makes her invaluable when you are trying to buy or sell a home.

Jennie actually started helping us about a year before we put our house on the market, giving us advice on small improvements we could make that would have a big impact on buyers.  She gave us excellent advice on pricing and staging our home (e.g. arrangement of furniture, adding plants in certain areas etc.), and she worked tirelessly to find a buyer for our home and make sure that the entire process went smoothly.  If you choose to use Jennie and you listen to her advice, I have no doubt that you will sell your home.  She is extremely competent and professional, and I would definitely use her again.

I began looking for my current home at the beginning of 2013 and the residential real estate market was coming back in a big way.  Interest rates were ridiculously low and everyone wanted to buy immediately.  Homes would go under contract within hours of coming on the market.  It was madness.  My budget was limited so we had a challenge ahead of us.  Jennie never gave up and worked like mad to help me find - and get! - just the right home for me.  I love my home, and when I think back to what it took for me to end up with it, I know it wouldn't have happened without Jennie's hard work, knowledge, industry contacts, awesome negotiation skills and genuine caring.  Thanks, Jennie!

She is amazing.  She is exceptionally knowledgeable, she was more aware of things to look for, when buying this house, than I had ever thought of. She saved me month, and she was extremely good at paying attention to my needs. She zeroed in real quick. She is extremely professional, and she pointed things out in the house that I didn't see. I didn't notice the floor was crooked, and she walked on it, and she could feel it.I am going to buy another house, and there is nobody else I would consider using.
