We have been located in Murray since 1988, we service all makes and models of cars foreign and domestic. We currently employ 11 people. All of our Transmission are built here on site, so we can be sure everything is done to the highest standards. We also offer a couple of financing options if needed. All of out transmissions come with a nation wide warranty. We offer different promotions and discounts on our web site jandgtransmissions.com.

First of all, they let me know I could come in any time for a free estimate. When they found the problem was minimal, they were very obliging and took care of it for me even though they were busy with other work. I could see that they are a very organized and efficient company. Everyone was busy, but they were all very friendly and knowlegable. My experience there was very positive!

These are type of service providers you hope for when something needs to be fixed. It went GREAT!
They diagnosed the trouble to my steering column not the transmission (very honest). They worked me into their schedule and called when it was done later that afternoon... Very good natured and easy to get along with.
I highly recommend this company.

Vehicle problems are almost always difficult to deal with, especially being a woman! It certainly made things easier working with Jand G Transmissions. From start to finish, they were kind, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. There was no reading between the lines and wondering what the final bill may be. They kept me informed of what they found as they tore my transmission down and what my options to remedy the problem were, and then performed the services quickly and efficiently. It also confirms to me that the businesses found on Angie's List are reputable and can be trusted, not to mention I was given a $100 discount because the referral came through Angie's List! To me, that's worth a fortune! I really appreciated the kind people at Jand G Transmissions, and would not hesitate for a second to send my friends and family members to them!

I now have about 6,000 miles on the '99 GMC Sierra since the work. I got Jand Gs' name from a TV commercial then checked them out on Angieslist. I had called several shops for transmission quotes, picked Jand G based on Angieslist reviews, pricing and and quot;feeland quot;. The quote price was correct for the transmission the other work was at fair pricing.
These guys are great! Integrity and reliable they are. There was a and quot;Hiccupand quot; with the U-joint while I was out of town on family vacation and they stood by their work with a supportive attitude until it was resolved.
I made one phone call to Jand G and they told me where to go and who to see (in their network) to get the issue resolved. That company was great to work with also!
I would recommend Jand G to my family and friends, I would even go back myself!

My manual transmission car kept popping out of gears and having to be towed to service shops around the valley. Not being specialists in transmissions, they could not fix the problem. The last time the gears popped I got a tip for a transmission shop downtown, which never answered the phone. After three unsuccessful attempts I consulted Angie's List and came up with Jand G. I had the car AAA towed to them and managed to talked to Bret on the phone on the first attempt. Turns out that both AAA and Jand G didn't even need me to be involved, so I actually didn't meet with anyone face-to-face or see the shop until it was time to pay. Bret called the first day and said it was a broken axle, but needed more time to get the car on the lift to see if there was more damage. He called again the next day and said that there wasn't any other problem, that the new axle would cost $380, and that it could be picked up that same afternoon.
I call that great service, great pricing, and would recommend them to anyone with a transmission problem!

My car has not leaked at all, after leaving puddles everywhere I went. The whole experience from the first phone call to schedule the appointment to picking up my car when finished was amazing. This company is one of the few left that takes pride in their work. The office is neat, they supply you with a detailed, typed up invoice that explains everything they did and noticed about your car (not some handwritten, unable to read brief detail) and confirms what they told you, warranties you have etc. I had no idea mechanics like this still existed. I will take my car there for anything they are able to do on it, and I will highly recommend them to all family and frinds. I am so thankful I found an honest company who could fix my car and whom I can trust. I am a single woman, so it is easy to take advantage.

Everything went well. They even did a little bit of extra work; they had to replace a type of modular, but they were still under $400 than what they had quoted me. They did an outstanding job and anytime I had any questions, they were more than happy to answer them. They also sent me a little reminder card for a check-up.
