I hired for a full kitchen remodel that involved minimal change to layout and no structural changes. The project has substantially lacked coordination and planning, resulting in avoidable errors and 4+ weeks delay. I had taken the initiative to make a shareable Google doc with dimensions and specifications for each appliance. The owner refused to let me work directly with his cabinetry guy and he shared drawings made by one cabinet shop with another. The sink did not fit. The dishwasher did not fit. The opening for the refrigerator was off by 3 inches. Multiple ceiling and exterior lights no longer work in other parts of my home and it has been 2+ weeks since I pointed that out. The workers procrastinate and don't show up for a few days. When they do show up, typically without notice, it seems they don't know what they're doing and they're in a hurry to just do something (i.e. the wrong thing).
