We had installed a deck 6 years ago and two years later, it constantly leaked water into the basement. The original contractor went out of business. The basement ceiling fell in three times. We had two other companies out to 'waterproof' the deck but it never worked. Finally asked Ironwood to  come out as we were desperately seeking solutions that did not include deconstruction and reconstruction of our 20' by 40'  deck. Kelly Anderson came out and suggested installing a roof over the open deck, which would keep most of the deck dry, and also using his preferred vendor for waterproofing. After much discussion, and realizing the only other option was to remove the deck, we agreed. And we are so very grateful that we did!
I required that the new roof mesh with the existing roof (which was redone two years ago). They found the same tiles and peeled back the  existing roof. During the process, they discovered the source of one of the leaks into the basement. The new roof line looks as if it were part of the original design of the house.
They were courteous (killing a  few spider nests  that they found as they removed the  stucco from the house was a bonus), polite to my kids and  didn't mind the dog going nuts every time he saw them outside. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves (although I have found some construction nails but overall they did a fine job).
They listened to our ideas and concerns, modified what we asked and were quick to let us know if there was a problem or a delay.
With all the rain we have had since January, I can assure you that their job was top-notch. Very pleased and we would highly recommend them. And no, they weren't the cheapest solution but the money was absolutely the best we've spent.

We really liked them. Troy, the contractor is extremely prompt. He was very responsive. They did a really good job. They're expensive but they're worth the price. It's really hard to find a contractor that actually calls you back.

We are actually just getting started on our project. But Kelly Anderson has been very thorough in getting our plans together. He is easy to work with and has provided us with written floor plans. The ball is in our court now to make appts with various vendors and choose our material...we know exactly what we need to do.

These people are super efficient. Every week they give us an update on what's going to be done and what has been done. They are great about communicating and referring us to appropriate sources for materials and supplies. This has been a major project and it could have been disastrous but this company is excellent in all regards. They've made the process easy and cooperative. We couldn't have asked for more for the amount of work being done. I wanted to grade each category "AAA" because they deserve it. The sub-contractors on the job are equally marvelous.
