First, it would be helpful if Angie's List updated the addresses of the businesses they rate. Hoover is now Valley Vacuum and Sewing 6333 South Highland Drive Hollady, Utah; same phone number. After getting the correct address, I dropped off the Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum cleaner to have the foot switch/lever that drops down the beater bar replaced, and to have the machine serviced. The quoted price was $50 and I was told it would be ready the following week. I called at that time and was surprised that the technician who answered the phone could not find my machine. He said he was very busy and would call me back. After waiting several hours, I called them back, and the technician said the vacuum was not ready, but would be by the end of the day; he called me later in the afternoon to let me know it had been repaired and serviced. I went in the next day to pick it up only to find out from the owner of the business that it was in fact not repaired. As a result, he spent the next hour or so fixing the machine, giving it a complete servicing and did not charge me for anything! What started as a "bum deal" turned into a wonderful example of great customer service. I would recommend Valley Vacuum and Sewing for any repair or purchasing services!

These place is awesome. They had exactly the belts I needed (Wal-Mart didn't, plus at Wal-Mart it was confusing). And today I went in after finding that a catastrophic event had happened with the screws from my vacuum cleaner after I took it apart to remove the belt. I suspect a 2 year-old. I went in and asked if they had any screws to match to the survivors and he gave me some. When I asked if I could pay him he said to just continue giving them our business. I'll do one better-a glowing review!
