You can always return anything that is unused. I do a lot of remodeling on my duplexes. It is very streamlined since I put it all on my card it keeps a great record.

I was there January of 2000.

I was there June of 2016. 

What I disliked mostly is the two persons that came in and installed it, it’s a gas dryer, so I could smell gas as they were installing, but I thought it was residue from taking the old nozzle off and putting theirs on.  They took about 15 minutes to do that and they said it’s all ready to go and I signed and they left.  I went to bed that night and I woke up in the middle of the night and I could smell gas.  In the morning, I called my daughter and she called the gas company.  The guy from the gas company opened up all the windows and said in another half an hour, your house would’ve blown up this whole neighborhood.  They disconnected the gas and wrote a scathing letter to Home Depot.  Then I was really nauseous for four days because of the gas.  I got a hold of the manager of Home Depot and he was very apologetic.  He said we could come up and fix it.  I said no, I don’t want anybody from your place in my house ever again.

Provider supplied proper paint color and finish for room type, I wanted something that I could use wet cloth to clean without removing paint as it was used in a kitchen environment where food splatter could occur.

My experience with them was fine.

They usually have a bigger selection. I usually go there once a week. I will buy plants there too. They help me with gardening, supplies, tips, tools. I have gotten lighting there. They great you when you come in the door. You can find someone around that will help the person in that department to help you specifically. They will also look things up on the computer for you. They did that for my bathroom, looking for a special bathroom supply. They looked it up and looked in all the other stores. They looked at Lowes and other people's websites, they were willing to do that to see if I could find this special soap dish. Even if it's another competitor they will look it up and they will tell you if they have it.

The installation of the products went well! The windows are lovely and the company that did the installation (Home Depot contracts installation with other local companies) did a great job. They cleaned up the area and made sure that I was pleased with the finished product.
The problem came with the billing for the project. I opted to take advantage of their 24-month interest free financing options by opening a Home Depot credit card through Citibank. However, they billed the job incorrectly. Part of the project was billed under a 6-month interest free financing option and the other (a smaller $$ amount, I might add) was billed under a 12-month interest free option. I attempted to correct this several times with the sales person I originally worked with and by speaking with the project manager for my window installation project. The sales person assured me, several times that he would correct the billing issue, but he did not. 6 months passed and I wasn't going to leave the balance with that card (at 22% interest) when I have other credit accounts (at 6% interest and lower) that I could transfer the balance to. The only reason
I open the Home Depot card was because of the 24-month interest free offer. I didn't get what we agreed to though so I ended up transferring the balance. I was charged $500+ for interest, before I transferred the balance. The project manager said I could take my statement and the email thread I had with the sales person *who stopped responding to me after the interst charges started, by the way) down to the Home Depot store and try to speak with the manager about it, but I don't really have time to try to hunt down the store manager to explain why they owe me money when I have a full-time job.
I will never use Home Depot for a project like this again.

They were so outstanding it was unbelievable. They came out to my house to fix it for me. I don't think they have a big locksmithng area but they do have a nice key cutting thing there. They guy that does it was the one that came out to cut the lock and cyclinder. Their attitude was like no we can't leave you with a broken lock. It was interesting to see they were interested in making sure it was taken care of.

They were okay and professional enough. I didn't have any complaints; I just didn't go with them. I may use them in future.

When they came out they kept messing around and we didn't like the way they were measuring, so we wouldn't recommend them. They kept running us around and things like that. They kept changing the day they would come out.

It was very well. They were on time and very courteous. They gave us a very detailed estimate.

I thought that their pricing was pretty reasonable. I thought that the people there were knowledgeable and helpful.

They overcharged $100 for the doors, but did refund it. I would give the installation an F, because I ended up with an extra hole in my door where they drilled for a knocker I wanted to use. I tried to clean the old knocker up (which they said I would be able to do), but was unable to in the end and therefore had to fill in the holes myself with car body putty and sand it down. Also, when putting the new backdoors they put the same locks on because I had good commercial grade dead bolts, but after installed they didn't work right. The back one wouldn't work at all. For the interior doors, they broke the casing around the door and just nailed it back on, as well they didn't end up putting the casing on tight. I ended up calling the installer back and having him fix it the best he could, which he was willing to do but the casing still doesn't look that great where the peice broke off. The lock works better, but not as before the doors were put in. I like the doors, but I would not use the installer, Trevor, again.

They did the work quickly. They were really good to work with. They were considerate about keeping things clean and tidy. My only complaint was that they damaged a couple of my brass window sills. They are planning on getting that resolved, though.

It went very well. The sales person was informative and helpful. The only problem that we had was that one of the window sizes wasn't available in the style that we wanted and that delayed processing the order. Since we were leaving for vacation there were limited dates available for installation which made it somewhat inconvenient. The installers arrived as scheduled were very professional and did a nice job. They stayed late to finish rather than returning for a second day which would have required more time off from work.

Overall I would actually give them a B grade, because they did have to come back twice since the lock did not work the first time. They were friendly, courteous and polite. I would recommend them.

The experience was very positive overall. I had them install a new storm door. The door, with the labor included in the price, was very competitive and low. I would recommend them again.
