We purchased a set of French patio doors for our back yard.  The Mill Works department is under staffed and under trained.  We consistently had to wait until one of the many Home Depot staff who kept walking back and forth could help us out.  One of the staff had the nerve to suggest that we come back on a less busy day.  Great customer service, send the customer away and have them come back and a day when it is more convenient for the vendor.  Again, likely the staff is under trained and under paid, so why should they in all honesty give a crap about customer service. 
We ordered the door which arrived approximately 6 weeks later.  The installers contacted us and schedule and installation.  The installers called us a 2nd time to reschedule the installation as the young main had a funeral to attend.  I can understand that and was appreciative the he was honest.  When the installers came on a Sat., they had not checked the the order was complete, before they came.  It was not complete.  It was missing the lock set and the screen door.  The Installer himself, could not get a hold of someone at Home Depot to correct the error.  After several attempts, the installer got a hold of some one at the Mill Works department, who suggested that the lock set was indeed with the order.  Mill Works was too busy to go to the back to find the lost components.  The installer left us with a temporary lock set, that once replaced with the ordered lock set had damaged the paint on the door.  But that's OK, as "you can just patch that up with a bit of touch up paint, which Home Depot can sell you."  In addition to not delivering the lock set or screen door, we had to wait another month for the screen door to be re-ordered.  The screen door was delivered approximately 1 month later, 2 months from the original order date.  The screen door does not slide on it's track set and the lock jam is not flush with the door.  I've made three phone calls so far and whlle Jen Sears is an attentive representative, I still have not heard back yet from the installer who is presumably going to come back to fix the door.
The purpose for writing this review is to encourage the consumer to buy local.  And if it is necessary to purchase items from Home Depot, do not be robbed by paying for the in joke of an "installation services".  It is anything but a service.

They did an excellent job in the remodeling process. They had really creative ideas and professional application. Their price was great compared to several other estimates we had performed. I highly recommend them.

I went to Home Depot for window treatments. I decided on wood blinds for my home. Home Depot hires a subcontractor to complete the job. I have been very pleased with the companies that they select. The installers were on time and did a great job.

Very helpful at helping us pick out styles. They are very good at calling to let us know when installers were going to be coming out. Staff was knowledgeable. Installers cleaned up after themselves and I scratched counter 2 days after installed, they fixed.

The workers from Home Depot were punctual. The work was done on budget. The finished product was perfect. They workers also cleaned up after themselves. We were very satisfied with the company.
