Michael (owner?), installed a back flow preventer for our sprinkler system in April, 2024. It had a 2 year warranty. About a year later, the valve leaked again. He said it was due to corrosion in the pipe from oxidation and in his 30 years in business, he's seen it from time to time. He slapped us a $362 bill for dispatch and cleaning the valve without first informing us of either the $120 dispatch fee (known) and cause (unknown) . We had used him for a water softener install during COVID which also had issues 1 year later-- he ended up coming out to repair (again, informing us of the service fee only afterwards). I talked to Michael about this afterwards and he spent 30 minutes explaining how this is a common issue for back flow valves (yet he never bothered to informed us before hand) and how he's been in business for 30 years and highly qualified (yet he never bother to inform us of the dispatch fee and other fees). There's a pattern of dishonesty here! Beware!

why Micheal gave me a detailed bid. He started work when he said he would. His work was interrupted a few times by the necessity (by law) to repair frozen pipes and boilers for others during that very cold spell this past winter. He came promptly to address any perceived problems alter location of drain pipes.
His assistant Jewel is very pleasant, helpful and always answers the phone or calls back promptly.
Between the two, they maintain contact and don't leave one wondering when he'll be there, if there's an emergency elsewhere.
I will use them to re-plump my side of house.

When I call I talk to a person not a machine. They have responded many times to my calls-doesn't matter if it is 8 PM or 8 AM on a Sunday morning. The level of professionalism is terrific. I will not use any other plumber for the several properties I have. Priceing is fair for work done. Very neat and clean.

After looking the unit over, he said the capacitor needed replacing.  He quoted us a high price, but it was hot so we went ahead and had the work done.  We ended up paying $491 dollars for the part, plus the service call.  He wanted to recharge the refrigerant as well, for an additional $187, but we declined.  We had a another company come out to give us a second opinion, and the tech said that overall this job should have cost no more than $150, and we were taken advantage of.  We are very upset at this situation.

Everything went great. I have no complaints at all. They were nice and courteous, and they showed up on time. They seemed knowledgeable and explained what they were doing. They did everything that I expected. After texting around, they seemed to be around the same price. They were very punctual. I would probably use them again in the future depending on who has the best price, but they would definitely be one of the companies I would look at again.

The excellent experience with this company started with the knowledgeable person who booked the appointment for a new water heater. She seemed tuned into my priorities and sent a plumber who was "very detail oriented." Not only was that true, but he made suggestions based on our particular needs and priorities. He even installed connections that would be more fiddly, yet last longer. The plumber was very willing to answer all my questions. The plumber cleaned up, hauled away the old water heater, and explained the use of the new unit.

Michael at Healthy Home was truly professional and pleasant to work with. We have a house that is over 100 years old and still had deteriorating galvanized pipe. Michael came in and gave us a fair estimate on the work and we liked him so much we hired him. He predicted it would take a day to do the job, but, being an older house, there were several unexpected circumstances. So it ended up taking 2 days, but he did an excellent job. We have terrific water pressure now, the pipes are logically laid out, they left no mess, and we plan to have them back for additional work. Really a good company and good people.

Update 05/13/2014: Just had Healthy Home back to install 2 new toilets, re-install a sink and put in a new water line to my ice maker. Once again, they did a great job. Very professional. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend Michael to anyone.

I always use them. The person that they usually sent here I get along really well, we usually talk about changes in engineer. They seem very confident doing hi-tech things, they've done a very good work for me and I would use them for bigger projects too. They're more expensive but I felt they're worth it and I'm happy to pay the price.

Michael was very prompt and logical with his troubleshooting.  The final verdict was that the AC unit was completely out of R22.  As he was explaining R22 versus the modern refrigerant, the AC unit completely died.  Michael was able to quickly find a new unit and installed it for a very reasonable rate and didn't charge me for the service call.  While he was here, I also bombarded him with questions about HVAC and plumbing, and he seemed to be very knowledgeable in both areas.

very professional. Cleaned up afterwards. Have used them for several jobs and will call them for anything in the future. At 8 pm I called one night and got the owner-not voice mail or automatic message service. Appreciated being able to get immediate help when needed. Michael Young, the owner, personally supervised any worker with him. I think very highly of this firm and his pricing is fair for work performed.

I have known Michael for many years and he has always been very knowledgeable about his work and prompt, clean, and thorough with his work.  We moved this summer and wanted to add a gas line to our outdoor barbecue and a water softener/filter because my family has very dry/sensitive skin.  He and his workers did an excellent job after first giving me an estimate of the cost of the work.  It was an expensive job but we were satisfied with the results.  I will always call them back for plumbing/heating concerns. Very reliable.

On the hottest day of the year to date, my upstairs AC stopped working.  My physician recommended Michael Young, owner of Healthy Home Plumbing, Heating & AC.  I called him at 5:00 p.m. and he was at my home at 6:00 p.m. that day.  He solved the problem, gave me a bid for re-doing my entire home and I am going to use him as soon as the weather cools off so I can be without AC for a couple of days.

He is congenial, listens well, communicates openly, and is neat and clean about his work. I would definitely use him again; however, he has had to delay us for many hours so that he has even ended up working into the late night hours. He calls and gives regular updates about the time, but one cannot really schedule anything for the 24 hours following the appointment. Despite this, we would still use him again. As I write this, it has been almost a year since we've needed his services, so this may have event changed.

Two plumbers performed the work in about 2 hours.  I thought the price was a little steep (since I have installed my own Moentrol valve in another shower), but they did quality work on the tub and responded fairly quickly.  I decided to just suck it up because I didn't want to tackle this job.  They told me the camera showed that there was a dip in my sewer lateral where it had sunk for some reason not immediately apparent and they quoted me $6,372 - $8,912 to repair it depending on whether it was collapsed under the street or not.
My wife told me that her boss had used a company, Woody's, to repair his lateral for $1500 so I contacted Woody's who referred me to Corby of Electric Rooter. Woody's does the actual excavation and repair work and ER does the investigative work.
Corby also used a camera and made a video of every foot of our lateral.  He said there was just an old clog which had not been thoroughly routed and he proceeded to use a 4" cutter blade to grind down the buildup.  He said the buildup made the water back up an inch deep or so and it could resemble a sagging line to a novice.  From the video Corby left me, it was obvious the water was due to that buildup in the line.  Corby also found a cleanout in the front yard which had been buried for 60 years!  Now I don't have to crawl under the house....  Total bill $345.  I gave him a nice tip.

I think Healthy Home, through ignorance or deliberately, would have taken me to the cleaners if I had let them.  I would have had my whole lawn opened up for nothing.  This taught me to always get multiple bids for major repair work!

It went fantastic! They did what they said they were going to do.

The poor man had misheard my address. I live in Murray and he lives up in Roy. We had an appointment at 9 or 10 o'clock in the morning. He couldn't find it! I was telling him where it was, but he just misheard me. He remade the appointment for that afternoon and he actually showed up, even though he was late and lost. He explained everything he was going to do, and he wrote it down. When he finished the job, he told me it had taken longer than he had expected, but he didn't charge me any more than what he originally quoted.

I was very, very, very pleased. They seemed to know exactly what they were doing.

They were great. I spent about $300 on the work. I like them because they are very professional and very well trained. They are very responsive. They were a little delayed when they came out to do the second part of the job, but they did let me know what was going on. They were very knowledgeable and they did an excellent job. Also, they communicated very well. I am planning to use them again in the future.

They were really nice and helpful. I think that they overcharged me for the price of the motor but I never checked into it. I would rate them high overall. I might use them again in the future.

Healthy Home Heating & Air completed many needed repairs. An estimate on the repairs was given as soon as I could schedule it. The estimate was fair and the final price held to the estimate - there were no surprises. Scheduling of the actual work was also done without delay as soon as "I" was ready. The work was completed courteously, meticulously, and quickly (despite a few "old pipe" surprises). I will use this company again.

Michael was very courteous and professional, and his work was excellent quality. The new plumbing is very professionally done, lines are plumb, level, and well routed. Top quality materials were installed (Grunflos pump), and he cleaned up afterwards. We would highly recommend Healthy Home Plumbing, Heating and AC.
