My mother's caregiver was at the home, and they gave her a very high price. I told her not to allow them to repair it because I could buy a new washer for that price. They returned with a part and pressured her into letting them install it, and then changed $100 more than they told her it would cost for the entire repair. They also told her they had pulled the washer away from the wall and fixed something in it they didn't charge for, but it was obvious it was not pulled out. I put a stop payment on the check, and when they called I told hem what happened and the secretary provided the most rude and abrasive experience I have had in years with someone on the phone. She was so rude I hung up on her! I told her I would send her a check and she called back three times and left messages to call her back with a credit card or they would report me. I had immediately written a check and taken it to the post office (minutes away).
