Dish Network Salt Lake City

The installation and function of the service and equipment went well.  Everything worked as they said it would.  Overall I am satisfied except for one thing and that is cost.  The monthly service cost is quite high and I feel I am paying for station access that I never watch.  I feel they should offer a menu whereby you could order stations on an a la carte basis to keep the overall cost down and so you received only the stations desired.

Had DISH improve our satellite service.  Provider did a fine job.

Very reasonable to work with. Didn't. Try to rip me off like comcast with needing to rent other equipment.

They sent someone out to take care of the equipment at no cost to me.  I was very happy with the experience.  I joined back up because I have had poor experiences with other service providers and really like Dish Network.

Free Installation, $45/month for first year.  Signal has been great so far.

I've been using them for 4 months. Their phone service is really good and their tech support is really great. The experience has been really good. I will definitely continue using them.

The experience so far has been good.

They have been good.  I have gotten good service from them.  Generally speaking, they have responded when I have had issues.  They replaced remotes and they also replaced a DVR.  They have good turnaround time.  The price could be a little better.

When we originally called to disconnect the service, they told us to fax a letter stating that we couldn't have the dish at our new home and they would review it.  We sent the letter to them and they said they don't know where the fax went to and have no way finding it.  Then they told us it didn't matter because it is not their policy.  Dish Network is saying that we signed a 2 year contract.  We moved and they are telling us that we need to pay $200 to get out of the 2 year contract.  We have no record of the 2 year contract but we have record of the 1 year contract.  They do everything through the computer so they will not send us a copy of the 2 year contract.  At our new home we are not allowed to put up a satellite dish and they told us it was our job to make sure where we moved would accept the dish.

I debated for a long time before deciding to go with Dish Network. I used to have cable, but they kept raising the prices on me, so I decided it was time to make the switch to satellite. I ve been really happy with the switch, because now I have an all digital service and I won t have to worry about anything when it comes time for the digital transition. (I m not really one for figuring out technology!) I considered another satellite service company, but I found that Dish Network gave me a better price overall. I went with the top 200 plan, which is really nice and it gives me all the popular shows I watch (probably why they call it America s top 200 plan, go figure!). Price was the largest determining factor for me. I just had to go with what was best for my checkbook, and with Dish I still have access to my favorite shows. So really, I didn t sacrifice anything, while gaining a better price. It was a win-win situation. I thought it would be hard to make the switch, but they helped me every step of the way. I simply called 866-770-0994, and they took it from there. Really, I m not trying to sound like an advertisement, but not only did they help me get a better package than I had originally researched, which was great, the set up was free, and they took care of all the equipment. To any of you looking for a better price for great TV, I d recommend Dish Network. It may not be for everyone who is looking for HD or sports, but it gives the best general package for movies, popular shows, and such, for a low price.
