For over 10years Greg and his team have been totally professional, on time when scheduled, and very reasonable to the point of including light trimming outside the bid without charge. I have two properties, and they have removed large trees several large trees, trimmed others, ground stumps, and even repaired wind and snow load branches to prevent ugly bare spots. Caring, Christian, and family owned.

They were fast and cleaned up after themselves. Good job!

The two-man crew with their 50' cherry picker and wood chipper completed the trimming and chipping in a little over six hours. They did an excellent job of coordinating with me to trim precisely the desired limbs, and they even chipped a few extra branches that I had laying around. At my request, they left much of their wood chips, at no extra cost. My only suggestion would be that they should wear more protective gear (hardhats, ear, and eye protection). The owner provided a free itemized quote before I booked, and the price was less than 2/3 as much as the other vendor quoted me. (Note to customers: book early, because when I booked them in early August they had about a five-week backlog.)

They came on time for the appointment and finished the job fast. Not a lot of talking, but I think it is supposed to. They cleaned up and made sure there is no mess. Will definitely hire them again.

First of all, every person I talked to from Gregg and Marnie to the clean up men were very professional, friendly and eager to accommodate.  Their bid was much lower than previous bids I received from other tree services.  Service was scheduled and men arrived on time and performed the job in 2 hours.   They told me they would not leave until I was happy with the job..  I would recommend Discount Tree highly. 

The provider performed outstanding service.  They were on time with good communication throughout the process.  Their price was significantly lower than their competitors, they accommodated my schedule, arrived on time, and performed the work as requested.  They also cleaned up after the job very nicely.  I will gladly have them perform work in the future.

Prompt response on bid, scheduling and job. They arrives as scheduled and had the tree removed before I could find my check book.

Gregg Mounteer came out for free estimate then we set up a date for tree trimming - Josh and Mitch did the work and I am very happy with the trimming and tree removal that was done - they were careful and cleaned up the debris well - even swept the street. Thank you Discount Tree!

They came on time for the initial bid and then the day of the service they came right on time and were courteous and cleaned up right away.The supervisor also gave me some advise on some other trees I had questions on. The bill was exactly the same as the bid. The phone personnel were also courteous and understanding.

Professional but friendly atmosphere, high quality work that they will stand behind. I have used this company many times as well as my several of my neighbors and we have always been pleased with the entire experience!

Greg, owner/estimator and arborist showed up on schedule, inspected the work listed on my request for proposal, requested clarification and provided explanations where necessary and provided an itemized price proposal, which was the same as the price on the invoice at the completion of work. Adequate staff and equipment was made available to complete the job and site cleanup in a timely and professional manner. I was totally satisfied with the whole process and the results.

The workers were a little undesirable and creepy. When my neighbor inquired about their availability to trim his trees, one of the workers told him (my neighbor) that he (the worker) did trimming on the side. They arraigned for the work to be done directly without using Discount Tree. I informed the owner of the company of his employees activities.
I hired Discount Tree because the owner was very knowledgeable and honest in his assessment of my trees. I hade some die back of two pines and asked him to recommend a solution. Rather than taking the opportunity to treat the trees unnecessarily, He told me that some tree spikes would be sufficient to solve the problem.

Discount Tree and Landscape Co. my interaction was very favorable. They can't come out until the end of the month as far as the work I can't rate that but as far as him coming out and giving me an estimate and talking to me about it, it was great. He gave me the estimate a couple of days ago. It was $400 for removing the dead and $600 for removing the tree. I liked them very much. The guy was knowledgeable and very personable. I would give them As.

Discount Tree and Maintenance could not come out for over a month because they were first committed to work at the Tracy Aviary, but set a date and kept it. They provided excellent tree and bush trimming, and I would recommend them based on those services. However, the person who was scheduled to come out and do the fence repair did not come out until much later; in fact, a couple of hours after the tree trimming was done, and then only did quick repair work and waterproofing. When I contacted them a few days later in writing about the need to complete the fence work (staining), I never received a reply back and the check was already cashed.

Overall experience went well. Very professional and careful of property and area's surrounding the trees removed. Their crew arrived on time and were quick and efficient in their work. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them.

After a big snow storm a big branch cracked and hung into my drive way.
I was able to trim most of it down but it was big enough and high enough that I was worried of hurting myself(I could barely reaching it from the top of my biggest ladder).
They came out the day of the phone call to give an estimate, even though it was Thanskgiving week. They had a minimum charge of $125 so they cut down the branch, and also trimmed up the rest of the tree.
I've used these guys before, they are fast, do good work and well priced. I recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

Discount Tree was fabulous to work with. They were prompt in responding, showed up on time, worked very efficiently and even cleaned up after themselves. They were great - including the price. Would most definitely recommend and use again.

Discount Trees did a very good job in removing our trees. They showed up on time and were very efficient in removing the trees. They also did a good job with the clean-up. The only thing I was disappointed with was the stump grinding. They left several large roots near the main trunk makeing it difficult to work the soil around the tree. Overall they did a good job and I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
