Direct Source Furniture

The price was good, but it was a relatively simple, modern set. they kept saying it was coming in and after two months it finally came in. Everything came in boxes so I didn't inspect it before I got home. Once I got it home (they don't deliver) we realized how poor the quality was. Some of the drawers fit crooked, the foot board corners were crushed and broken, the bed rails were two different lengths, and the veneer on the bedrails was popping off (it looked like the wood had shrunk... which made the veneer pop up). I called and they were more than willing to order new pieces (in terms of the damage), so that was fine. but in terms of the "money back gaurantee", you have to have everything in it's original boxes... which sounds fine, but you have to tear the boxes up to get the furniture out of the boxes. they didn't want to take the furniture back b/c it would look like it was used... even though I would be returning it b/c it was just crappy furniture. once the new pieces came in (again they just replaced the damaged/defective pieces... not the poorly made pieces) they all still had some defect. Less severe, but still defects. I'm really not that picky of a person. the new mirror they brought in had a puncture and scratch in the wood, the foot rail had a smaller crushed corner, and the bed rails were both different sizes again and the veneer was popping off... just not quite as bad. It was such a hastle. I kept the crappy furniture b/c it's such a hastle to take it back and we don't have the boxes, so I don't know that it's worth the fight. I did see some furniture that looked okay when I was there, but there is no gaurantee... I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
