Mr. Darrell Catmull came to my home and made a walk through. We made an appointment for two days later at a specific time. He then went to his office and did some magic on his computer and then returned on time and was very pleasant. I received my analysis, which was professionally produced and helped me make a decision about the sale of my home. He went the extra mile and included a special booklet on the process of moving and selling a home. Each step was explained to my satisfaction and has been extremely helpful. I would recommend his company to everyone.

Purchased only an initial assessment offered online. Met with agent once and found him to extremely helpful. Lots of information to consider in the process. Would consider using him as our agent when we decide for sure we are going to make the leap.

I have known Darrell for several years and he has helped to sell several properties within our family. Specific to this most recent experience, Darrell went above and beyond. Darrell was very accommodating when we were deciding if we were going to sell or keep the house. He understood when we decided to keep the house for approximately six additional months (I was going through a divorce at the time and Darrell was very understanding of the indecisiveness). Once we did get the house back on the market in January of this year, Darrell was on top of making recommendations to help increase our showing and potential interest. He has been very quick to respond to any question within hours, he was always available. Darrell made the closing, moving and purchasing of a new home so easy for me. I didn't have to worry about moving or storing any of my personal items, Darrell took care of all the arrangements for me. He also handled an estate sell, smoke clean up and move in to my new condo, he even put new locks on all the doors. I could go on and on... I used to be a Loan Officer about 13 years ago and have worked with many Real Estate agents, I can tell you that Darrell is top of the line and does so much more than he has to. I really appreciate him!!

We may have been spoiled by using Darrell Catmull to buy our home. Darrell?s objective opinion of the properties we looked at helped us make smart decisions. It?s a seller?s market and Darrell never pressured us nor did he try to convince us into a home that did not meet my needs. He was patient, available, and followed up well. The home needed a few repairs to give us peace of mind and this is where I think Darrell spoiled us. He convinced a reluctant seller to pay for the repairs and used his connections to get them done before closing. Darrell recommended a loan officer that was wonderful. She got my loan done early so we could close early. Darrell is a seasoned professional and we recommend him to anyone who wants a great negotiator and a smooth buying (or selling) experience.

I normally don’t take the time to write reviews online but feel like a lot of people could benefit from my story. Many years ago I was taken advantage by a real estate investor and lost my home. Darrell Catmull who manages Destiny Real Estate is incredibly knowledgeable and diligent. After following Darrell’s strategy for nine months I got approved for a mortgage but was then informed that if I didn’t find a house in the next three weeks I wouldn’t be able to qualify because of a lending rule change around how much the lender felt I should be paying monthly for my student loans. Darrell was available, always answered emails, texts and calls and together we found a house that was nearly perfect for me. He was savvy in using the contract to my advantage and negotiated repairs that weren’t required by the appraiser. He found an affordable roofer and orchestrated having the seller pay 25% of the cost to replace the roof shingles before I closed. I chose Darrell’s offer of a lock upgrade and re-key and he followed up for weeks after the closing to ensure the locks were done right and aided me in getting the right people, at an affordable price, to fix the laundry closet so it would fit my washer and accommodate my gas dryer. I’m convinced that Darrell is a master of his profession and no problem or obstacle intimidates him. I enthusiastically recommend Darrell to anyone who wants a smooth transaction and appreciates what a deeply committed agent can and will do.

We enjoyed working with Darrell and couldn't believe how much he knew about mortgage financing and real estate. Darrell was very responsive and solved a lot of problems in a very difficult transaction. He knows just about anyone and everyone when it comes to lawyers and workers who could help us in any need or situation. I've known many real estate agents, most of which are out of the business, and none of those agents could hold a candle to Darrell's knowledge, expertise and helpful approach. They were supposed to provide a written report but I never got one. It was fine. He came over and he gave me a few thoughts. I never got a follow-up. They didn't charge more for the consultation. He was punctual with the appointment.

My impression after discussing, at considerable length, remodeling, new construction and being a landlord was that you were going to keep the properties and didn’t require the follow-up value report in addition to the five reports I sent by email prior to the meeting. I remember giving you many ideas, tips and explaining the advantages of utilizing a Credit Union Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) to make any future investments or moves up north. I have mailed you a hard copy of: 1) The only three comparable properties that are similar to yours in 84106 - to help you track your home value and, 2) The latest Remodeling report that helps you decide where best to invest your resources for the best possible return when remodeling a home or choosing upgrades that builders might offer.
