Would not recommend. If it’s an emergency - Don’t take action! Go to your vet or a specialist!! JUST COME HERE AND LEAVE YOUR PET FOR OBSERVATION IF ITS TRULY AN EMERGENCY. My dog, Sasha had an abscess behind her eye and it was causing her eyeball to quite literally be bulging out. It was very disturbing and hard to see. We didn’t have a lot of options when it came to emergency animal hospitals (this and blue pearl). However this was closer to our usual vet so we went with CAH. We were advised to keep our dog there overnight for observation and that her eye pressure was SO high that they would recommend removing her eyeball right then and there as they thought it was going to rupture any minute. However there was an eye specialist (eye care for animals) that we were going to go see the following day (no emergency services). They weren’t the experts so we said no, but CAH was really pushing for the removal. We stayed at no. Plus the lobby was disturbing. Although, well intentioned, they have memorials slapped all over the walls. Dogs missing eyes.. and limbs.. Testimonials from owners saying thank you for taking care of their dogs all throughout their lives etc. We’ve been to plenty of vets and none do this. It was like walking onto an animal obituary page. It was so upsetting - especially when your pet is experiencing an emergency. We went to eye care for animals early the following morning (Monday). And we told them removal was on the table per her eye pressure being so high - they thought it was going to rupture. The specialists told us that this was not the case at all and it was completely unnecessary - likely the eye pressure was being read INCORRECTLY. We did surgery, and her eye was just fine and has been for over a year. No bulging. Successful surgery. Thankful we didn’t listen to the CAH team please take this as a warning! Find a second opinion. CAH was trying to help but it was a quickie fix to the problem not an actual solution. My dog still has sight in both eyes (photo shown). Please PLEASE get a second opinion.

Called for an appointment to see if I could be seen today. My dog is coughing nonstop. Was told over the phone to "bring him right in" with no mention of a wait time and was told to leave him in the car while being checked in. It's 94 degrees outside. Sign on door does not say 24 hours and says for emergencies to go to the other door. While looking around for the other door, another dog was checked in before me (even though I was already at the correct door in the first place). After being let in, waited nearly 15 minutes with my dog in a baking car without so much as being greeted. This was far more stressful on my dog than just letting him stay home to get some rest. And a three hour wait is definitely something I should have been told about over the phone before wasting my time driving in. I will be looking elsewhere for emergency care.

I've been taking them there for a couple of years. One of the things that I like about an animal hospital is they're a 24-hour service. I had to take Angus for some reason and that's how I found out about them. Ozzy needed surgery on his ACL. I just decided to move them over there because of their professionalism. I buy a year package for $400 that covers all of their vaccinations and teeth cleaning and they get their toenails trimmed whenever they go in. I paid the 400 upfront and just take them in when they need everything that's covered under their package. I've never heard of it so I went there. I love Cottonwood Animal Hospital. They're great. It's not as cheap as some places in the valley but it's not as expensive as other places. They're in the middle. When I find somebody who I like then I pretty much have them forever.

While I was out of town, my cat's caretakers reported he had turned up with a large abcess on his back. I contacted this emergency vet hospital to alert them that my cat was being brought in, why, and that I would be paying the bill. Despite this, three more phone calls and nearly an hour elapsed after he arrived before he finally received treatment. I should note that everytime I spoke with a different person on the phone, and it was clear none of them communicated with each other. He went home with medication which turned out to be the WRONG medication! This neccessitated three more phone calls and another trip there to obtain the correct medication. Again, the staff did not communicate with each other, mostly seemed clueless, and never apologized for the med error. For the most part each contact with staff there was characterized by disinterest, curtness, and generally unprofessional conduct. On top of all that, a week and a half after my cat's stitches were out, his wound opened up again due to an abcess! I don't know whether the wound was not cleaned out thoroughly or he did not receive the antibiotic shot I was told he received or both. Needless to say, I did not return there, and neither would I ever do so! After receiving an additional surgery at another facility, my cat has totally recovered.

My dog was not walking on her back leg at all and barely touching her foot to the ground. My vet at the time did a very minimal evaluation and told me she had torn her ligament and needed TPLO surgery. I asked many questions but did not get clear answers and when I mentioned getting a second opinion they told me all the reasons why I should not use other providers. When I tried to contact the vet they used to do the surgery he was less than responsive. So I did a lot of research into doctors and methods before finally deciding on Cottonwood Animal Hospital and Dr. Bagley. I definitely was not disappointed in the least.

I was impressed with the reviews of the clinic and Dr. Bagley before we scheduled an appointment to have Dr. Bagley evaluate her injury. Dr. Bagley was very thorough in his physical evaluation and xrays. He was very complete in his discussion with me and answering questions about the different options. The clinic was very clean, friendly and responsive. Dr. Bagley performed the surgery, kept my dog overnight to monitor her and sent us home with detailed instructions for her rehab and recovery. a week after surgery my dog unexpectedly reacted to a dog outside and ran on her leg, slipped and fell. We called Dr. Bagley and took by dog in to be checked at the end of the day - Dr. Bagley waited for us to be sure she was okay and had not done damage to the repaired knee. It was a long recovery for us but my dog is doing very well. I am very impressed with Dr. Bagley and the Cottonwood Animal Hospital. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive, but they were definitely worth it -for the excellent care my dog received. My dog was well taken care of and they have my complete confidence and sincere appreciation.

All they were concerned with was how much money they could get out of us. We brought our extremely sick dog in to be put down. Their first question was and quot; How much money are you willing to spendand quot;. After begging them to just put our dog down, then they started trying to tack on as many charges as they could. They were arrogant jerks to put it bluntly. I would never ever go to this facility again, period.

There are 13 doctors in this practice! This blew me away as I am used to single, maybe two, doctor practices in my smaller previous town. But I researched online the doctors in our new area and decided on Dr. Bagley at Cottonwood.
Dr. Bagley's way helped me feel very comfortable. There was a long wait due to a dog ahead of us scheduled for surgery. His owners came from out of state to see Dr. Bagley (he has an incredibly high, positive reputation for surgery) and he ended up spending a lot of time answering their many questions. I think it was about a 45-50 minute wait on my end. Dr. Bagley explained why there was such a long wait and apologized. He also said he would not charge for my dog's nail trimming since I had to wait. I was fine with it all. The waiting room was quite wonderful, actually, because I got to watch all the other dogs. The vet tech that helped us was very welcoming and friendly. A lot of the work on my dog was done in the back room by the vet techs. It was quite efficient. The doctor was very down to earth and put me at ease. He was very willing to talk about any and all concerns and practices we have at home with my dog. He was very thorough and I appreciated the fact that we were able to discuss costs of certain things and he was willing to advise on how to save money and still give my dog the best possible care. Plus there was an online coupon for no charge for a new client exam. Cottonwood Animal Hospital is open 24/7 and has an emergency vet service which is very reassuring.

They were great. Our appointment was scheduled the same day, they took time to carefully examine our dog and they actually discovered that another clinic had mis diagnosed his cold. Cottonwood Hospital treated our dog well and got him better quickly. The veterinarians were able to answer all of our questions and even called to check on him a few day later. We will definitely be going back to Cottonwood Animal Hospital for all of our pets check ups.

Our old girl was having problems, we took her in to see what the problem was. The Dr. on staff was very helpful and helped us treat her. We were there for a long period of time and the staff was very attentive and wanted us to be comfortable.

I've been using them for 9 years. They are incredibly thorough. I totally trust them. I know my dog is going to get superior care there. They go the extra mile. They always follow up with phone calls to check up on the dog. They are a little expensive but I know we are in good hands. They have a 24 hour emergency so they are full service.

We arrived for our appointment and were lead to an exam room on time. The staff was very friendly with us and our dog. We did wait for about 15 or 20 minutes for a vet but they had a cat in surgery that needed the attention, so we understood the delay. The vet diagnosed the ear problem and provided medication. The vet followed up with us via phone a few days later to see if the medication was working. Our dog's infection cleared up shortly. We've been using this vet for about a year now and will continue going back.

Terrible. Dr. Anderson was nice and knowledgeable, but the staff at the clinic is the worst I have ever seen. They lost 2 charts while I was there. One of the staff said IV fluids were necessary because small dogs that don't receive them die on the operating table. WHY WOULD A VETERINARY CLINIC EVEN CONSIDER IV FLUIDS AN OPTION IF THE DOG WILL DIE?! There is no organization at the clinic whatsoever.
