Agent used too high original sale estimate as carrot then dropping sales price next night when signing listing. My lawyer advised my that sales contract was not valid. After many emails between Sugar House broker and myself he released me from contract . Sugar House broker said he had never heard term of highballing. A Coldwell Banker agent from another broker sold 1200 Street house for me.
Description of Work: I had two houses to sell in SLC,Ut. Agent came to one and toured 1200 Street house, she said it should sell for between $400,000 and $500,000. . The next night she came back to list houses and said 1200 Street house should sell for $360,000. I call this high balling and it is very unprofessional. I emailed her asking how value of house was so much lower over night. She answered email but never answered question. I told her broker what had happened and he answered he never had complaints about her... He was not present when agent listed houses, my daughter and I understand English well and know exactly what she said and did.. He sent me lots of self serving rants as he did not did not want to lose sale but did not say if he had seen my email to agent questioning her price drop.
