COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Salt Lake City

Kelly was absolutely wonderful and was very experienced in working with our old style draperies. The drapes were clean and refresh. They are hard to hang and take down, but Kelly clearly new what she was doing. I was amazed at how quickly she was able to put them up and down. She also referred me to a great place to get my 30+ year old sheer replaced. I would completely recommended to anyone!

We hired them to clean our whole house carpet. We were the last appointment of the day, around 4:00. We pointed out some pet stains and a pink stain from when our son threw up. He acted disinterested and like he didn't want to be here. Interestingly enough, he didn't try to upsell anything (first time I've EVER had that with carpet cleaning). For the price I expected pretreatment and stain protection. He did tell us he wasn't sure he could get the pink stain out. He finished and left, and didn't get the pink stain out. The next day the basement smelled so bad I couldn't stand to go down there, it even stung my eyes from the ammonia of the pet urine I'm sure. They have a guarantee, so I called. They scheduled someone to come out again, but it was not for a week. Meanwhile, my house still reeks. The same disinterested guy shows up to redo the cleaning. He tells us they have a pet pre-treatment they can use. (Why didn't he offer that the first time since we pointed out pet stains?) He did reclean the basement and it was better.

Said I had an infestation of flying pests in the lining, I was unaware of. I had used them for multiple years. I am very displeased.

Larger home with a new system. Was able to clean it out and my heater seems to be working really well now. I know very little about HVAC but I tested the A/C too and it is working like a dream. Much better air flow now.

Not great. He had no one to help move furniture. Was grumpy. Rushed through the job. It does not look any cleaner than before he came

I've been a repeat customer for years and they haven't failed me yet on draperies. Love, love, love Coit !! They are the best in the industry foe cleaning draperies. Thanks again boys!!

Called for carpet cleaning ASAP and they had a cancellation and could fit me in just a few hours later. The technician called me about an hour before saying he was running early so he actually arrived 15 min ahead of schedule (which was great for us!). They were offering a 40% off discount and WITH the discount it was the most expensive quote I received. BUT, I told Gina over the phone I couldn't pay what they wanted and we'd go with someone else and she asked for the other prices I received and matched one that was about $100 lower than what COIT was asking. The technician that cleaned the carpet worked really hard for a few hours and did a great job. Overall, I was impressed with the price matching, the speediness and the service, I just think their prices are high. Without the 40% discount, I think I would have laughed out loud at the estimate!

Two technicians were punctual and very fast (45 minutes in ant out), however, high traffic areas (entryways, around chairs, dining table), looked like they had not been cleaned. I paid a premium price for a mediocre job.

My experience with them has been very good. They were very professional, came out in two-man teams and were very thorough to make sure debris didn't get into other parts of the house. When working, they worked long hours to make sure everything was done timely but were very respectful about our timing because they were working around the holidays.

Coit had given me a window of time. I think it was between 8 and 10 am on Saturday. The two men arrived right at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. I was not charged extra for the weekend. I only had the furniture moved in the one room where they stretched the carpet, but they started as soon as they arrived and finished in about 2 hours. They didn't take any breaks, they explained what they were doing as they went. One man was upstairs, one down. They did an excellent job and I would definitely use them again.

I have used Coit on previous occasions for both carpet and drapery cleaning. They cleaned the drapes in place and did an equally excellent job. I wouldn't use anyone else.

STAY AWAY FROM COIT!!! I paid them almost $700 to smudge greasy hand prints on my white ceilings, track mud throughout my home and still there is debris left in my cold-air returns from sloppy workmanship! They went so far as to help themselves to a ladder in my house and to STAND ON TOP OF MY CHILDREN'S BED PILLOWS with their FILTHY SHOES ON to reach certain duct outlets. Non-professional, NO class and NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.. they offered to send the same 2 man crew out to "clean up" after themselves. WOW! What a compromise COIT. They wouldn't refund ONE CENT! I find it funny that COIT Nationally Advertises that they use an AMERICAN EXPRESSS PLUMB CARD to run their business, however they DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS..... gee, I wonder why? Maybe because their customers would dispute their charges for RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!

Two technicians arrived (this time 5-10 minutes late). One was training the other. Fifteen minutes in, one technician used the bathroom without asking and left it smelling.The cleaning looked good in the family room/dining combo, stairs stained with tomato juice came clean, and hallway. Extra bedroom was pretty worn and it did not come out much better. They finished up in two hours.

They arrived right on time. There was no "block of time." They arrived on a Saturday at 8:30 in the morning. Worked quickly and were in and out in no time. The service was great. They used a vacuum that is actually mounted on a truck, so the carpets come out clean and stayed that way for a long time. They were very professional and courteous. I am, in fact, scheduling them to come out this fall. I've also had Coit clean curtains and drapes in the past and was very pleased with the results. A few years ago I got some brand new drapes for the living room. They were literally 2 days old, when my mom's dog peed on the hem. I immediately called Coit and they sent someone out the same day, thinking they could get to it while it was still damp. They weren't able to help because the stain needed water and the fabric needed dry cleaning, but the point is, they came out immediately, and when they couldn't help they didn't charge me a dime. By the way, they did a great job on the rug too.

Both services were performed by highly professional and knowledgable individuals who took the time to do everything with care and diligence. I will absolutely call COIT again in the future.

The quote was high for the space compared to 3 others I called. After the quote they called back to offer a lower price because they would be in the area and wanted the job. They arrived on time or a few minutes early, they did the cleaning and teflon, and left the house free of tools or mess and did not tack on any additional tax or charges. I called the company back as they had told me on the estimate that they would move some furniture and replace it if it wasn't too heavy and they didn't do it. It needed to be cleaned underneath two pieces as they are light and moved around a lot. They came back after the next job and cleaned those two spots and reworked one other spot. They were pleasant about it and did it quickly.

I called on Saturday to schedule cleaning for two chairs and one carpet area. I needed the work to be done on Tuesday. They said they could do it on Tuesday, and they would call to schedule with me on Tuesday morning. At 8:00 a.m. they called to ask if they could show up at 9:00. At 9:00 exactly, Mike was at my door. He was perfect for punctuality. I felt that the work was thorough, but my desired outcome was to overcome an odor that was not altogether remedied.

Coit was wonderful. We used them for the first time to do our sofa and two chairs. Very cleanly and friendly staff and very punctual. Would definitely recommend their service to family and friends.

The overall experience was good. The whole process took two days. The people who installed the ducts were professional and courteous and we were not inconvenienced during the installation.

We were pleased with the service and are glad that we got our air vents cleaned. Coit is fairly fast and they didn't have to return to our home to complete any changes. The price was a slightly high, but the work was acceptable. I've recommend them to others.

I would hire a different company if I get a lower bid from another company. I called and made the appointment. They came and did the work. It wasnt outstanding, but it was good.
