Horribly. Here is the short-story. They started in Sept. 2007 and contractually he was supposed to be completed by Dec. 15th. The guy who was supposed to be the project manager and who essentially sold us on the project was almost never to be seen again. He was replaced with Dan Burdette, the owner. Dan literally put one guy on the job with a bucket, shovel, and pick-axe. After it was clear that he wasn't going to make the deadline, Dan B. essentially extorted additional time from us and waived the penalties of the contract. We asked him to set a new date and penalties, which he did. He then missed that date and again walked away from the penalties. He has a saying: "There are always gives and takes." However, in this case, he always wanted more money than what was specified in the contract and do less work than what we agreed to. There was never any "give" on his side and I came to realize that the saying was a euphemism for him breaking from the contract when it was convenient for him. He hired a sub-contractor that was a convicted sexual offender, who eventually threatened my wife. Needless to say, we fired him and would never recommend him to anyone. In fact, we believe that he should lose his business license.

From the beginning of the job they were late every step of the way. Outside of delays caused by plumbers and electricians, they promised a 12 week time period and it went from July through December. The project manager walked off the job (as well as others), leaving me to find others to finish the details. The tile in the bathroom is uneven, cabinets had to be redone; the communication between those working on the job was non-existent and people were consistently quitting which threw the deadline off even more. I am now missing phone lines and cable outlets in my office and downstairs. The plumber threw away all my information on the whirlpool tub, and the platform promised for the washer and dryer was never completed.

They did a great job. My concern was when I found they put too much spackle on the ceiling I tried to tell them and they didn t understand me as there was a language barrier. The main contractor had left them alone. The job looks real nice and we are happy with it. There was something I didn't like and they took it down without complaining and a few times they were late but the got the job done by there deadline so we were happy.
