Excellent work. I love the finished product and felt the price was fair.

Cottonwood Custom performed excellent quality work, completed in one day. Recommended buffing and applying a second coat next year that should last for several years. Anticipating on using them again to do that.

The company designed and installed a 9' x 32' freestanding steel carport roof to our specifications. They were very clear about the price, materials, and schedule. The entire job was completed with high quality in only 8 or 10 hours total work time, with a crew of two the first day for the concrete footings and steel posts and a crew of three to complete the roof, two days after they installed the footings and posts.
My only complaint was that after installing the posts, they did not communicate as to when they would return to install the roof. I phoned and they told me that they would be out the next morning, which they were.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the whole process.

One con would have to be the price of the lattices, which is an add on, and that is the price of $300 per lattice. So if you do one side it would cost $600, cause it's 2 per side. So if you did 2 sides it would be $1200. That's way to much money in my opinion. I did go ahead and get just one in the middle, which adds a little more detail to the whole thing.

We had issues with the installation of the awnings and patio cover. They had to come out 3 different times to get the patio cover installed correctly. They sent one man out for a 3 man job. They sent out a different man each time to install/fix the patio cover. It was very inconvenient to us to have them come out multiple times. We are happy with the product and materials of the awnings and patio cover, but disappointed with the service.

They were really nice and very fast. They were very efficient. They were great. They are pleasant and easy to work with. I was happy with the results.

WHEN THE SALESMAN CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO TAKE THE ORDER AND DEPOSIT ALONG WITH THE MEASUREMENT WAS FINE. HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT A COUPLE DAYS. THEN HE CALLED A FEW DAYS LATER AND STATED IT WOULD BE A WHILE LONGER, WHICH WAS FINE WITH US. HE CALLED ME AT WORK ON 3/20/06 and STATED THEY WOULD START RIGHT THEN. I WANTED TO BE THERE OR HAVE SOEMONE THERE WHILE THE WORK WAS DONE. A LITTLE NOTICE WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED. I WENT HOME AND THE AWNING WAS INSTALLED. I NOTICED 2 LARGE SAGS BETWEEN THE BEAMS. IT LEAKED WHERE THE AWNING MET THE HOUSE AND THE GARAGE IN NUMEROUS PLACES. AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO REACH OUR SALESMAN WE DECIDED TO CALL A DIFFERENT SALESMAN. OUR SALESMAN WOULD NOT RETURN OUR CALLS and THE FEW TIEMS HE DID HE STATED THE SAGS WERE NOT HIS PROBLEM AND THE LEAKS WERE BECAUSE OF OUR ROOF. FINALLY IN MAY THE SAGS WERE FIXED BY AWNINGS UNLIMITED. THE LEAKS WERE FIXED BY SOMEONE ELSE. WE WERE TIRED OF TRYING TO GET ISSUES RESOLVED THRU AWNINGS UNLIMITED. OVERALL IT WAS BAD.

We didn't have any awnings on our deck before, so these are very nice. They were very thorough with their work. They cleaned up everything, they even picked up their mess afterward. They were on time and got the job done quickly.
