Aspen Roofing

The job went very well. It was a very large job on a large house. The price was not cheap but the quality was high. It took longer than originally predicted but that wasn't really a problem for us. Some work turned out to be harder than was envisioned in the quote but Aspen stuck to the quote and didn't try to charge us more. We had a few small problems with cleanup but we are very picky about that and they responded to our concerns very well. We are happy with the end product and had one of the more pleasant contractor experiences we have ever had. Would highly recommend Aspen Roofing.

Well, he was referred by one of his neighbors. I called Aspen Roofing more than 2 months ago (early June or before) and owner Jon and first mate Matt came to my house then to look over my work, which involved a small amount of roofing and waterproofing, and mostly new siding and soffit/fascia. They stayed for almost 90 minutes and I got a good feeling about them (so much for my intuition this time). Understanding they were moving to a new location, it may take a couple weeks for bid(s), but would be forthcoming in a reasonable time frame. I called in a month leaving a (concerned but nice) message and no one returned my call. Over a week later I called and happened to talk to Matt, who was apologetic and assured me that he would have numbers put together for my work by the next day. That didn't happen, in fact there again was no response. I called about 2 weeks later and talked to an office girl, who sounded embarrassed that Jon had not gotten back to me and assured me he would. Another week went by, I called and talked to the receptionist again, explaining how discourteously the "professionals" and "technicians" had treated me and I still didn't have a bid. At no time did I RECEIVE a call from them so I CALLED the next day (Aug. 7th) and finally got the owner, Jon. I wasn't mad, just disappointed in being strung along so long. He said he had time and would put together a bid and email it to me. We discussed that there would be some time and materials that would not be in bid form, but I just wanted an IDEA of what I might be spending. He did email me an estimate, if you want to call it that, and dated the day before I spoke with him. The entire estimate said this: Time and material billed at: Estimated 40 hours at $XX (final invoice will reflect actual hours per man hour) Material Cost Plus 15% Markup---------------------------Total $2600. That gives me a lot to go on - Thanks, Aspen Roofing, its been nice doing business with ya!

The services from Aspen Roofing were excellent. They showed up when they were supposed to be there and did the work and cleaned up and we did not even know that they have already been there. They did really good work. I thought that the price was definitely reasonable one. They are really professional. They got back to me right away and they were we were able to schedule the work really soon. They were really great.

Ash Rowland came out to give me the estimate. He was early which was refreshing. He had a satellite image of my house and took the measurements from that. He was very polite and professional. The work was scheduled for about 2 weeks later Friday July 19th. Then I got a call asking if they could push it back to the next Friday the 26th because they were running behind. I said no problem. I get a call again the 26th asking if they could change it to Aug 6th. I said ok. They finally came out the 7th to do the work. They finished the roof in 2 days and it looks great. They cleaned up after themselves. They were worth the wait and I would recommend them to anyone.

The quality of the work Aspen Roofing did was very good but it took much longer than I had expected. When I arranged the work the salesman told me it was a 2-3 week job. I am familiar with construction work and I thought that was an accurate estimate. Aspen began the work diligently but then they ran into a small problem. They inadvertently broke a piece of wood on the house and had to replace it but also had to match the staining and weathering. So they suspended the work for what should have been a day or two but that stretched into weeks. There were various other delays and the job ended up taking almost three months. I am still waiting for an electrical diagram that I can give to my electrician for heat tape on the roof and gutters. As noted the quality of the finished work is very good and the price was reasonable. But if I were in a hurry to get something done I'd think twice before I hired Aspen Roofing.

Our experience with them was very good. They were very honest. The work they did was very good.

Dealing with Aspen roofing was terrific. The work was done in a timely matter, the cost was exactly as estimated and the people I dealt with were awesome. The roofer (Russ) did a great job plus he kept me informed about the status of the repair. He was also very clean; I didn't find any screws, trash or scraps from the work he performed. Dealing with Lou in the office was nice too, she was very friendly and professional. Ash came out and gave me an estimate and when the final bill came there were no added charges. So, to sum it up, they did great work, there were no hidden charges, they were clean and punctual and they were professional and courteous. You can't ask for more than that. I will definitely use Aspen roofing next time I need work done.

It went great! They were quick, cleaned up everything and my roof is beautiful. Ryan was fantastic to work with.

Tony who was the head guy did an excellent job and he and his crew were very polite and got right to work. Ryan who came out to do the estimate was spot on with what the cost would be and receptionist was always willing to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend Aspen Roofing!

They have been excellent. We had them all winter because we had major problems and they did something else too in May. They are coming in August to do some more repairs. The price obviously depends on what we need to do and our stuff is very expensive. My impression is that they are not cheap but their work is excellent so once it's done, it's done. They are not overpriced either but they are not cheap. They are asking for what they are really doing. These guys were working in the middle of this winter and it was really very cold, it was down to minus twenty but they worked for eight to nine hours a day until they fixed it till 8 o’clock at night.

From my initial phone call, to the inspection, to receiving a bid - the process was smooth, professional, and priced right. About three weeks after receiving the bid (around June 18 2013), I called the estimator-advised him the job was his. He told me to respond to the email he sent with the bid which I did. No response. I called the office on July 8th and was told someone would call me back right away. It is now 2 days later and no call back. The lack of responsiveness is an issue - so I will not be using this company. Too bad.

My contact with Aspen Roofing started with Ryan Brady graciously taking the time to answer my numerous questions and reassuring me that if THIS roof leaked, especially around the fireplaces, his company would come out and fix the problem. Planning the date was done in an organized manner. Chris was a meticulous worker and obviously took pride in doing very good work. When I decided I wanted to add on another gutter, Aspen was prompt in doing that task as well. The workers were very professional. The office staff was also friendly and organized. In summary, I was extremely pleased with Aspen Roofing and would recommend them to anyone.

Ash explained how they would install the soffit with the slope needed for water run off. Ash brought samples over to pick out the color. The technicians were very efficient and courteous Great price and service

They replaced the roof. They recovered the entire roof. They did not strip off the old roof they just put the new roof on. They were very timely on their commitments. They were prompt and responsive throughout from the bid to the completion. From what I can tell the quality of the installation is good.

My experience with them has been good. They do a great job. They are really good. The only thing that I would say I dislike is that sometimes they're busy and they can't get on right away, but what do I expect in the falls for a roofer, you know.

We chose Aspen roofing because Ryan was professional, honest and the price was reasonable. Ryan gave us all the right answers, including that Aspen Roofing would pull a city permit and have the city inspect it making sure the roof met all of the codes. He didn't try and rush or push us to sign a contract, encouraged us to pursue other bids and also gave us tips on important questions to ask. Aspen worked with our schedule and roofers were professional and tidy (I ONLY picked up 5 roofing nails after the tear off of 4 layers of shingles!) Aspen worked around our request to access the attic for some outdoor lighting installation which saved us time and aggervation. The roof is absolutely beautiful and worth every penny. Without hesitaiton, I will recommend Aspen Roofing to anyone in need of roof repair in the future.

they were considerate of our property, work was slow and methodical but eventually was completed and to our satisfaction -- we then hired them to replace our roof and also do some more gutter work - we would recommend them without question. If you are in a hurry to get it done I suggest specifying that in the contract though.

They were extremely helpful. They responded quickly and sent pictures along with an explanation of the proposed remedy of the problem. They worked with our insurance adjuster and were very helpful. They were great to work with and I would highly recommend them.

I liked that the guy that came out was real knowledgeable. The estimate was right and they didn’t charge us anymore. I didn’t like that they sent out two Mexicans that weren’t sure what they were going to do. They got it figured out and did it right. The roof doesn’t leak anymore. The guy who came out the first time told me right away that I move the attic fan. Their quality was great. I had another company come and give me an estimate. They said that we needed a new roof. I was real happy with Aspen Roofing. They came right away and their punctuality was good. I would recommend them to other people.

We had them come over for an estimate to fix a small ice dam leak. They wouldn't give the estimate at the time but emailed it later. The price was outrageous to in do all that they recommended. My husband said if needed to spend that much we would just pay to put on a Bartile roof.

A little slower than i would have liked but i am happy with the workmanship, confident it won't leak and confident that if there is a problem they will be out promptly to fix it. We are still finishing up and i haven't seen the final bill yet. There have been a few minor gitches that have been worked through to our satisfaction (as one might expect) I would hire them again - look out - there are some really poor roofers in our area who have a great sales pitch. Aspen roofing, from what i have experienced, delivers what they promise and at the price they bid. They have finished - there were no hidden charges, etc. completely satisfied. Ash, their sales rep, oversaw the project. He was great to work with and an unbelievable asset to the company.

Company representative came over to give me an estimate on an exposed ridge cap for my roof. He not only gave me a fair price, but he knew a storm was coming. So he came back to my house the same afternoon and patched up the exposed area so it would not be affected by the storm. He went above and beyond my expectation. The company came back to fix it more permanently. They arrived on time and were professional. Great company. Would definitely recommend.
