Arrow Moving & Storage Co of Utah LP

The whole moving arrangement went just as I had been told.  The salesman worked with me and gave me an even better price after I had checked with other companies.  Person in charge of my move was always available and answered or took care of every concern.  Everything happened exactly as and when they said it would.  All employees were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable.  When the goods were delivered, there were problems with a desk which could not be assembled because a connection had been broken off and with a reclining sofa that didn't work right.  The claims representative was willing to let a handyman I found repair and assemble the desk because his charge was more reasonable than if the company had tried to find someone.  The sofa was somewhat more of an issue, but again, I located a local furniture repair/restoration company and after the representative talked with them, they were allowed to come and do the repair.  The later took serveral months to accomplish, but Arrow paid without hassle. 

I would definately recommend this company.

The men that picked up our belongings were 3 hours late so they didn't start until afternoon.  At eight o'clock that night they were still loading.  One of the men, in an attempt to get a large piece of furniture down the stairs, damaged the stairway so severely we had to have a hole plastered and the area painted.  I had indicated that we had three antiques that could not be replaced and that they should take extra precautions with them.  The crew that delivered the furniture from storage in Salt Lake was on time and seemed efficient.  When we inspected our furniture we found that a storage chest had been under something so heavy that the top was crushed in.  One of the antiques had a white scratch on it and an antique hutch had a section nearly broken off.  The crack is so bad I'm not sure it can be repaired.
The claims office is in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Whenever I talked to them I was told they had 90 days to settle our claim.  Emails I sent were ignored or I got the same pat answer.  We've moved before and had some damage but that company sent some one to repair the things that could be repaired.  This company couldn't be bothered with anything other than the excuse that it was a busy time of year and I didn't provide them with receipts or serial numbers.  I was very disappointed in their customer service.  I would never use them again.

-Moving staff did not have GPS and could not find pick up location. We had to provide directions over the phone. This made them late. -Movers broke two pieces of furniture. However, they reimbursed us at a rate higher than the coverage that we paid for (i.e., $0.60/lb).
