Andrea Washburn Landscaping

I was so stressed becasue my dad bought a house with a lawn with two feet of dead weeds and he was too sick to care for and I live out of state. I thought of xeroscaping so called Andrea. She assessed the yard, noticed there is as sprinkling system my dad had no idea about, and said that though she prefers xeroscaping, for my dad's situation just taking care of the grass and getting it mowed would be easiest. She spent significant time programming the sprinkler system on the old timer that hadn't been used in years. She sent her crew out to clean dad's yard, a day later, and he mowed thorougly, hauled off all debris, and left hte yard looking so clean. It is such a relief. I feel like she was able to listen and assess and make plans. Her ideas about things we might do to make the yard safer for dad were really thoughtful. She was just a miracle to me -- we'd had bad medical news that day, and finding out dad had working sprinkling system under all the weeds and getting it cleaned up so it wasn't a fire hazard just lifted up a mound of worry from all of us. I am so grateful for her. They'll mow biweekly and hele dad's lawn spring to life.

Andrea and her small crew worked quickly to complete my job once they started. While Andrea doesn't provide drawings for her work she was excellent with working with me to conceptualize out my ideas. I told her what I liked and what I didn't like with xeriscaping projects. I also showed her pictures of my ideas. Each morning we discussed the process and ideas of how to proceed in a collaborative fashion. Andrea has an excellent eye and design ideas and this process worked well for me. She was able to organically incorporate existing features into the overall design. I am completely pleased with the end results and have received many responses of how well it turned out. Adjectives used have been beautiful and magical. The only caveat I have is that you need to be patient while waiting your turn. Andrea runs a small, local business and works on only one major project at a time.

So pleased with the outcome. Took me a little to pin her down on time to come do the initial estimate, after that responded timely to any texts for clarification. Her crew was very polite and also responded to any of my questions/concerns. She was unable to obtain sod the day of the project, but was available and put in place within a couple of days.

Andrea and her crew did an excellent job cleaning a yard that had been neglected for years and had bushes and trees that were severly over grown. They removed debris and trash and did everything we expected. They were professional and prompt and communicated well before work started and through out the job. Based on the work they did for us, we most certainly will use them again and recommend them highly.

Andrea and her crew are very professional and their work is of very high quality work. She has very good ideas on designing landscapes for Utah's climate and worked patiently with us through the design process. She kept us updated on issues as they cropped up with old trees and pipes in the yard and provided solutions. The work was started and completed in the expected time frame and we now have a great looking yard.

It went quite well. There was a lot of overgrowth everywhere and Andrea and her staff did a great job getting rid of it. They trimmed the trees and added some new plants and mulch. We are happy with the result. There was a problem with the sprinkler system after the work was completed and Andrea came the next day and fixed it.

Andrea helped us design this and had cement poured in a line as a division between our yard and the xeriscape area. She had the ground covered with good dirt and pressed to be perfectly even. We chose to keep our sprinklers instead of installing drip which she also knows how to do. She applied plastic to the ground to keep the weeds down in which holes were cut for the plants. (This is often frowned on now but can easily be removed.) Mulch and perhaps something else covered the plastic. She asked me the kinds colors of plants I wanted. We didn't know much about plants. We just requested low water but I was delighted that I could have flowers and choose colors. She made several suggestions and we agreed on what we liked as much as possible. She had them planted where she felt they would go best. She has a flair for design. There as a large Maple tree creating shade at one end and she placed a variety of Hosta there. On the parkway she encouraged a variety of very short tiny flowering ground covers. People stop even in their cars and compliment us on our "garden" when we are out there.

Very well! Super happy with all the work. I enjoyed their presence in my space. They were all lovely and respectful. Our neighbors have all given us so many compliments! We went from that crazy overgrown house on the corner to the envy of our neighbors. Thanks Andrea!!!

I give Andrea and the landscaping business she has built the highest rating possible. She took time early in the season to meet with me twice to discuss the project, and continuously kept me updated on timelines. She and her crew work very hard to not only to perform rigorous landscaping details, but to accommodate questions or concerns throughout the project. Andrea is an honest, trustworthy and hardworking vendor. She has a keen eye for landscape and is knowledgeable and creative in design. I will call her for all future landscaping questions and needs.

Andrea and her crew did a wonderful job. Our yard looks beautiful. I especially liked the trimming they did, which allowed the plants to appear natural but not overgrown. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

As you can imagine, late spring is a busy time for landscapers/irrigation professionals, and after a prompt estimate in mid-April, Andrea got us scheduled for the work about a month and half out. She completed the work in a day with little intervention necessary from us and did a great job! Andrea was super responsive and patient with us in the planning stage as we had a lot of questions before deciding to start the project.

Andrea did an absolutely amazing job for me. The yard was a complete mess and it took her amazing team an entire long day of hard work to get it back in order. It looked amazing and Andrea was so kind. I strongly recommend her!

Andrea Washburn and her team are fantastic. Andrea helped me decide what to do and then went to work. Andrea and team were there everyday and did an amazing amount of work each day. She finished on time and on budget and the result was spectacular. Andrea took an unusable overgrown back yard and made it into a beautiful and enjoyable back yard. I found out later that my project was much bigger than she had done before. I would use her again and highly recommend her. Part of the job was to build a 800 square foot deck with a hot tub. This was to replace an old non-working swimming pool. Andrea recommended Adam LaBelle of Custom Creations. Adam made a number of suggestions that ended up saving me thousands of dollars. He could have just done what I said and made that much more money but he didn’t do this. Adam and crew went to work and finished on time and on budget. Along the way they added many nice touches. Adam knows what he is doing and is very honest and hard-working. I plan on contacting Adam for other projects in the future and highly recommend him. The deck and hot tub are just beautiful.

Fabulous!!! Andrea Washburn and her crew were some of the hardest and most diligent workers I have had the pleasure of working with. They were on time every day and they completed the job efficiently and timely. They were tidy and cleaned up every day. Andrea quoted us a fair price and stuck to it. We are completely satisfied and felt the cost equaled the value. The work completely changed the look of our front yard. We have received multiple compliments from neighbors and complete strangers who stop as they are driving up the street to compliment our landscaping.

Andrea was very responsive. Met with us multiple times prior to project. Very knowledgeable about local vegetation. Offered ideas but was very supportive of our plan.

My experience with this provider was excellent.  Andrea is reasonable and helpful with suggested changes.  She and her crew accomplished the job in 2 days and by the time they were done, my yard was transformed.  She made sure I was happy before she would accept final payment.  I would, unequivocally, recommend this provider

They did a fabulous job on the stone pavers.  The flower boxes they installed will add lots of color to the front yard.  I still have concerns with the sprinklers overspraying but it was still chilly when thery were here and she said she would come back if I had problems.  Overall she and her crew did a great job for a fair price.
