Dave with American Rooter is a ray of sunshine in world of doodoo. For a guy that deals with clogged drains all day, he is such a positive person. He makes me smile. He's super conscientious and seems to really want to solve your problem quickly. And when he leaves, he says he hopes we don't have to see him again, but if we do, to call him. We will.

They have a very reasonable price, and do a good job.

Called, made an appointment, he arrived on time and cleaned out the pipe.

He is pleasant, punctual, and professional. I will continue to use them.

This company is prompt and professional, and I would definitely use their services again.

I called American Rooter to have a slow drain cleared. It was late on Friday afternoon and since it wasn't an emergency, we agreed that it could wait until Monday. An appointment was scheduled for 11:00. He was right on time, cleared the clog, and ran the rooter 45 feet also clearing the slowed washer drain.

Very well. Two days previously one of Dave's competitors klutzed around for 20-30 minutes, and charged me $61 to tell me they could not open the drain. Dave offered to come over the day I called him, though it was more convenient for me to do it the next day. He brought equipment which appeared to be identical to that of the competitor. He had the drain open within a minute! He ran the snake in and out for a few minutes longer while pouring water through the drain, to completely flush it out, after which it had excellent flow. Dave knows what he is doing. Apparently some of his competitors do not, and happily charge money for demonstrating their incompetence. I recommend calling American first for any plugged drain. It is worth a few bucks more to get it done right the first time.

Noticed some standing water and back-up in the basement drain and bath tub in the evening. Called Dave at American in the morning. He asked some good questions, quoted us pricing over the phone, and arrived at noon the same day. Promptly determined the problem, went on the roof, and snaked out both the main sewer line from the house to the curb and a slow floor drain in the basement. Honored his phone estimate -and all is working well. I'd absolutely use him again.

They do good work whenever they come. They have always been very responsive. He does what he says he's going to do and he stands by his work. I would highly recommend them.
