Don't go with American Roofing of Utah or also known as AMCOROOF. They were suppose to do some patch and other work on the flat roof at a cost of $1400+ on our new house. They didn't fulfill their contract  (no gutters cleaned out, no new gravel) other than some new tar in a few places.  Their workers even told me that they didn't bring any new gravel to fill in the spots that needed new gravel on both the roof and carport.  The employee told me they didn't have any gravel but they didn't need it because they would just spread out the gravel that was already on the roof.  I checked with the previous owners and they confirmed that new gravel was part of the contract.  None of the gutters drained after they supposedly cleaned them out-the rain water just spilled out over the top and under the soffit and fascia.
They also damaged the roof! It leaked into the house a huge 6 x 8 inch bubble 2 feet in from the roof edge in a bedroom less then two weeks after they "patched" the roof. The roof had no previous internal leaks at all. (I checked with the previous owners and we had a special roof inspection before buying the house-the inspector confirmed no internal leaks and recommended the patch work.)
They refused to return my calls and claimed they know nothing about any damage when they finally did call back and that they were not hired to repair any damage.  No, they were paid to prevent possible damage but it seems awfully coincidental that a roof with no previous interior leaks over 30+ years suddenly leaked a huge bubble two weeks after they did maintenance work to prevent leaks.

Matthew Yorgason, the Company representative, was first contacted for an estimate for repairs/replacement of defective/missing shingles on our wood shake roof. He was very pleasant and professional and gave us a first rough estimate and an expert opinion of what should be done after walking the roof. A detailed estimate was sent by email. Scheduling was tight, but American Roofing was able to work us in at the end of October, 2014. The two roofers who did the repairs were polite and considerate of our needs. The repairs were done to our satisfaction within two days. When we received the invoice, we were very pleased to see that the final cost was at the very low end of the estimate.
We warmly recommend American Roofing. As we live in a PUD complex, we had previous contact with Mr. Yorgason when our roofing committee considered various forms of re-roofing within the complex. Mr. Yorgason attended one of our meetings and was exceedingly helpful and candid in his suggestions. He also provided sample boards and other materials for the committee. As a result, and after interviewing several other roofing businesses, American Roofing was selected as the PUD's Number One recommended roofing company by the committee.

They were excellent and the representative I worked with was really wonderful. He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. They were excellent to work with and I'm glad we chose American Roofing. It was an excellent experience with them and my house is beautiful. The price was fair and right where it should be. I was pleased with everything.

ThThe job started a week late. Tear-off went quickly, once begun. One employee stepped stepped through the bathroom ceiling after slipped off a roof rafter.
I made the decision to elevate the whole roof (original bid was for the south side only). This was an expected additional cost. While installing the 2X4 spacers a corner of a piece of sheathing punched a whole through a bedroom ceiling. Due to all the banging and dropping of shingle bundles on the roof, many nail pops and cracks were made in the interior sheet rock ceiling. These were repaired by American Roofing.
After all sheathing and new supports were installed, the actual roofing only took a couple of days. Looks great.

When the job was competed the bill came in almost 30% over the initial bid. Some of this was expected. I was charged extra for and quot;over-sizedand quot; drip edge even though the bid included raising the roof (requiring the over-sized drip edge) and drip edging was clearly included in the original bid.

I was led to believe that there would be no charge for the 60' of new gutter. If I had known there would be a charge for them, I would have left the old gutters in place. I also thought that the soffit vents were included since we had discussed this from the beginning of the project.

Clearly there were communication issues throughout the project. Some of this was my fault. I should have insisted on quotes after each modification. Especially since the contractor had made calculation errors several times when we discussed changes.

I replaced this roof due to leaking caused by ice-dams. This contractor gave me a 10 year warranty on workmanship, guaranteeing no leaks. I knew we had structural issues to address, however I felt I was way over-charged for this work. The contractor did reduce his initial bill by about $3,500. However I had insisted from day one that there not be any surprises.

Once we get 3-4 feet of snow on the roof I will be able to determine if the workmanship was satisfactory. The cost and experience was not.

The American Roofing representative showed up on time, provided a fair bid, was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the bid. The staff showed up promptly and cleaned up their mess and the end of each day. This was a difficult job as it rained for about ten days straight when they started. The crew was pleasant and the finished roof and gutters looked great!

Pretty much told the story above. Overall we are satisfied w/ no real complaints. It did seem expensive, but to be fair we did not get other quotes. Also had a few problems connecting w/ Stuart at the end - missed scheduled appointment 1 or 2 times. Also my husband was disturbed that they cashed our down payment immediately and gave us no ball park on when they would start on our roof. Would have been nice to put entire amount on a credit card.

We were having leak problems due to other problems caused by other companies. American tore off the old roof, gave us a new one, and we haven't had any problems since then.

Our friend recommended this company, called them and came out to assess the leaking roof. They gave me a price of $350.00 to repair the roof. They completed the job and sent me the bill for exactly what they said it would be. They were great to work with. They did a wonderful job. And, finally, they did the job and let me know it was done. They were wonderful.

Well, the windows we purchased are great and will be a huge upgrade to the old aluminum windows we had in our home. What I have an issue with is how long they took to install and the damage to my home that occurred during installation. We were told it would only take two days to install. It took over a week. Their installers were nice guys, but it sure took them several days to install the windows. Granted some of the old windows were difficult to remove, but they showed up various times of the morning and left early one afternoon to go get one of their trucks. Removing the old windows caused a lot of damage to the drywall on the inside of the house. The installers tried to cover it up with caulk. It wasn't until after our salesman came out to look at the job and we complained did they have their drywall person come out and patch the problem. I got several bids for this project and they were in the middle. The windows are great, but expect the installation to take much longer than they tell you.

The quality of the work was excellent and done to my satisfaction. They were on time, and the job was completed in the time they said it would be done. I would hire them again, and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

They weren't here on time, they didn't show up when they said they would. They were weeks late. They had to come back and fix a few things. They actually broke some of the wooding around the windows and then they gave me a discount.

Over all it was a good experience. There was a lot of rain or snow happening and they were kind of busy, so they weren't able to come right away. I was very pleased with there work. We haven't had any problems since.

They did a beautiful job. The gutters blend in great with The house. The installers were professional. I didn't even know they were here until finished.
