Jon Perry is the owner and operator and has broad knowledge and training about chimneys. This will ensure that your job is completed correctly. With his 26 years of experience and having graduated with his B.S degree in Metal Fabrication and Building Construction, Jon Perry offers a lot to his customers. Jon Perry and his staff will make sure that your home or business is left clean and void of dirt, soot, smudges or tracking. We have select equipment that is four times more powerful than our chimney sweep competitors in Utah. For this reason, we have the capability of capturing dirt, soot and dust that our competitors will most certainly leave behind for you to handle. Most companies attempt to do the project using an over-sized shop vac that is rated at 350 CFM. We have a specially designed industrial strength vac which pulls dirt and soot at over 1,600 CFM! Our specialized oversize hoses have 25% more capability and holding power to guarantee that your home or business is always protected. Our exclusively designed equipment allows you to get a meticulous job done without cutting corners. We ensure that your smoke chamber is cleaned when your chimney sweep is cleaning the flue. Arrived 30 minutes late with no courtesy call, I called him to get an update. He was on his way at the time. Did a great job cleaning the chimney, was very clean and respectful of our furniture and carpet, and cleaned everything up when he was done. The only downer was the weird history lesson we kept getting and the political comments about the president but mainly found that amusing. Took about an hour and was completely cleaned up and done. Would hire again.

Went Perfect! Great, knowledgeable and enjoyable person to bring into your house. Made sure to keep the area clean and protect the carpet. Thoroughly cleaned and inspected the chimney including getting on the roof. Recommended a cap which I had already looked into purchasing on the internet but he was able to deliver and install the next day at about the same price I would have paid to do it myself. All around impressed with his good work!

Jon answered my call and scheduled a visit to clean both chimneys. He arrived on time and assessed both chimneys which both desperately needed to be cleaned. He cleaned both on the spot with his heavy duty vacuum and showed me the mess that came from both cleans. He used many blankets to ensure that there was no mess. We built a fire that evening and had none of the issues of smoke that was previously happening. One of the fireboxes needed to be rebuilt so he scheduled to do that a week later. He again showed up on time. It was a complicated rebuilt and he took two needed days to complete the project that both my husband and I are very happy with.
Jon is professional, straightforward, and we enjoyed working with him.

I called Jon Perry because I have used him in past years and he did an excellent job.
I explained to Jon that I was going to use my 2 Buck Stoves to help heat my home because I recently was laid off my job and I needed to save money.
I paid $308 (my grocery money) Jon said he would also deliver a chemical spray bottle to help break down the creosote in the stoves. I still have not received the spray bottle and I have torn carpeting in front of the basement Buck Stove which will cost over $200 to repair. Where is my savings?

Called this company to deal with a raccoon living in the chimney of our basement fireplace. He was punctual and seemed knowledgable, however he dumped a whole box of moth balls down my chimney to fumigate the raccoon out. The moth ball smell was overwhelming in my basement fireplace and the smell was coming out of my upstairs fireplace as well. A week later he returned to make sure the raccoon was gone and to do a cleanup fire where the raccoon was living. He promised the moth ball smell would be cleaned out as well. The smell is still overwhelming and I'm having to crack my windows to try to air it out. He also tramped around my house in wet/muddy boots, chatted non stop about irrelevant things, and seemed to have little concern about my time. Also made himself completely at home and sat anywhere he pleased while filthy from working on the chimney. I've called another company to clean up the stinky mess he left behind.

He was punctual, congenial, an experienced professional, covered the floor and furniture for protection. Efficient. Took less than an hour. The Chimney sweep man was very professional and informative. He did a great, clean job and even suggested we get caps and a few other things done to convert our gas fireplace to wood burning. Then he went and picked up caps for us, returned a couple hours later and installed them that day.
