A-1 APPLIANCE REPAIR

It turned out later that I figured I could have bought a new microwave for about the same price. They knew that and didn't tell me. They did an okay job on the repair but I wish they had told me. They should have given me the alternative and recommended that I get a new unit. The price was okay and it works. They told me everything about it and then afterwards they told me about replacing it. I would use them again but I would be more careful.

Called A-1 they came same day, but did not fix the problem properly until 3 weeks after the initial diagnosis of needing a new compressor. On all 3 visits the repair person would say that should do and leave without the problem having been resolved. The repair person seemed very put out each time he had to return. After the 3rd visit, knock on wood, it's working. On the question of whether I would hire them again, because he replaced the compressor it now is guaranteed by them so if it has something to do with the compressor then yes, otherwise no way!

Dave called ahead to let me know he was on the way and his estimated time of arrival. He was knowledgeable, professional, competent, and pleasant. He fixed the problem promptly, presented his bill, got paid, and was on his way.
