I was supposed to have gravel placed in front yard, it never happened until I complained and then his workers brought out twenty dollars worth of gravel and put it randomly, and they left a huge pile of dead leaves in my front yard, did not do the curbing as originally planned and deven lied and said he did it how it was originally planned. I paid too much for what I got and was treated rudely by deven, all his workers were very nice though. The project turned out ok but I have never been treated so rudely and disrespectfully by any contractor so I can’t recommend this business.

Devon and his crew just finished a xeriscape job of our home, and we couldn’t be happier. Devon is really easy to work with, attentive, and quick to respond. He even met us out at the nursery on Sunday to walk us through our rock and plant selection. He was also very flexible and willing to hear our ideas. He has a good eye for detail. His crew arrived on time and worked really hard to complete my job very quickly. I left this morning with grass. I return home at five to find my yard with new plants and the rock we selected. His crew also carefully demolished a wall separating my side yard for my backyard. His bid was spot on, and his prices were very fair. I would be happy to work with Devon and his crew again..

Never a problem and have recommended Johnson's to many friends over the years and will continue to do so. Prices are extremely competitive.

I had a good conversation with Devon before hiring him to redo my front and backyard. I was impressed with his knowledge of the plants I currently had, even with some of them dead...and his 20 year experience. he was not the cheapest quote I received. He was very patient with my endless questions before the work began. We discussed the plants and design and the dimensions of the cement stepping blocks I wanted. Not until the work about to begin, he told me he could not give me the size on the stepping blocks. I was now on the search for someone to make me the stepping blocks and hoped there would not be any damage to the newly planted plants.. His workers were also very patient and very pleasant. There were some issues along the way, such as water leaking on several occasions and the water lines needed replacing. However, while I hired 20 years of experience, I did not get that. He never came out to check the work and even when I called him, he sent someone to fix the problem. None of which had 20 years experience. The curbing around the artificial grass I had installed by him, had a section that was discolored. I was assured it was because the ground below was still wet and would soon dry out. It is now 5 months later and the discoloration is still there. I also had a rosemary plant that was a different shade of green from the other he planted and was told that it is the same and there are different shades. Also this plant after 5 months has not grown and is now dead. while all the other plants around are thriving. I was told by another gardener that this plant was not healthy to begin with. I contacted him several times from 9/2-9/10 and have not heard back from him and at this point probably will not hear back. I did a lot of research, however, my judgement in this case was wrong.

It was excellent. They did a good job. Their service, quality of work, and price were great.

Because the job was massive and completely custom, it took Devon, Britain and their crew longer than originally thought. The end result was worth waiting for. Great Job!!
