The work performed was well done. I have a Cape Cod house and the roof is a big part of my home's curb appeal. Despite my home being older, they matched the shingles very well. I also got a free quote on what it will cost to eventually replace my roof; that was much appreciated. Dave honored a quote he gave me last fall, which was some time ago. Once I wanted to get he job started, the communication from the company was really lacking, however. I believe that a death in the family of the owner had something to do with this. I had little notice on when they were coming (I was told roof repair jobs are small and are just squished in between bigger roof replacement jobs) and the workers that finally arrived did not communicate at all with me, not even to let me know they were here. They just did the work and left. I called the owner to express my chagrin at the lack of communication and after a few days, he called me back to resolve this issue. I appreciated that. I would recommend them.

The repairs were done in a quality manner.  In addition to that, they actually got on the highest point of the roof to check an area we were not sure was also damaged or not.  There was no damage, but they actually made some cosmetic repairs to our furnace stove pipes all on their own accord.  We were just blown away and they look great.  If I ever need roofing, these will be who we will use.

They were great. They cleaned up their mess and even asked to go in the garage to clean up what had fallen through the slats. They were hardworking and polite. The roof is beautiful. I am extremely pleased with the process and the product!

Upon learning that we needed a new roof I got bids from several recommended roofers from Angieslist. Although all seemed capable, Dave Kemp's bid was the lowest and he spent the most time going through options with me and explaining what was wrong with the roof. He also found a few problems that the other roofers had not caught in their estimate.
Dave was able to wedge me in about 3 weeks after the bid which was comparable to the timeline everyone else gave me. He had an outstanding crew, and it took only 1 day to completely strip, replace ceiling joists and plywood and get the roof watertight. It took one more day to do the shingling. I was astounded that they could finish a 3,000 square foot roof so quickly. Dave has used the same journeymen for years, and all are very experienced roofers - no hourly hands here. The roof looks fantastic and they did an outstanding job. I'd use Dave without hesitation again.

I called Dave, we set up an appointment to meet for a consultation, he emailed the quote, and I accepted. He gave me the date that work would start and it did. He finished in the time he promised. His crew cleaned up the area very nicely and were very careful about the plants. They did a great job!

I called Dave Kemp for a bid on a roof. My bids ranged from $6,400 to over $12,000.00. Dave emailed me the bid with the itemized breakdown. His crew was prompt being at my home at 7am every day. They cleaned up the trash and I was very hppy with the job. In fact, I had a vent on the roof that needed replacing and Dave came out immediately to replace it. The only problem was that there was alot of dirt and nails in my garage from the installation of the new roof. I had to seep that because I didn't want my dogs to be accidentally let out. No fault of their own. I had to wait about a month for Dave to do my roof and now I see why. He has a line of customers because he's a great roofer.

I am happy with the quality of the work and its timely completion.

We called Dave and scheduled a time for him to come out and give us an estimate. When he came out to look at our roof, he made some great recomendations on ways to address our problem areas. He discussed various options and gave us a detailed estimate with price quotes for the various scenarious. In addition, our house was built in 1922 and had the original beadboard on much of the roof, unfortunately, much of it was rotten and needed to be torn out. Although, we ultimately had him re-deck the roof with plywood, he was willing to replace the old beadboard with new beadboard if we wanted him to. He did his research and gave us a price quote for that option as well. It was great! The guys arrived on time, completed the work in two days and thoroughly cleaned up the yard afterword. We were also interested in having our fascia and soffits covered. Dave does not do fascia and soffits, but he was able to recommend a company that does. His price was not the cheapest but it was VERY competative, the work was done well and his crew was very professional and knowledgable.
