"Did Chimney sweep. Job was fine, professional and cleaned up after job. Issue was the quote and the work done. Quoted on text $249 to $499.
I assumed lower quote is for an easy job, the 499 for something out of the ordinary.
My job was easy, they were in and out in 20 minutes. I was not there, but my wife was and did not know anything, just said yes to $399.
What in gods name would they do for their $249 quote ?
I think they took advantage of my wife. I would not of hired them for $400. better cheaper options.
Beware"

If your oven is new, then it’s likely that the oven smoking is due to it being a new unit. In this case, you don’t need to worry about the oven smoking. However, if your oven is old, you can’t identify any burnt food or grease that could be behind the smoking, or you have concerns about the heating element, then you should hire an oven technician to inspect your unit.
If you suspect you have a chimney problem, contact a masonry contractor for an inspection.
Solar panels that haven’t been properly inspected and maintained pose several risks to homeowners. Firstly, a dirty, obstructed, or malfunctioning solar panel won’t be able to generate as much power, which could lead to power shortages and wasted money. But more importantly, neglected solar panel arrays can become dangerous if left for too long. Corroded wires and exposed circuitry are fire hazards, so it’s strongly recommended to keep up with regular maintenance to protect your home.
Pricing a fire-damaged house is tricky, and it’s best to involve some professionals. First, get a comprehensive repair estimate from a fire damage restoration expert. Next, have a real estate agent get you an as-repaired value for the home, which represents what the house would be worth if fully repaired. Subtract the repair estimate from the as-repaired value to get the as-is value.
As with any smoking appliance, a smoking oven is a concerning fire risk. It also negatively impacts your indoor air quality, which can put vulnerable people at risk of breathing problems. A dirty oven can catch fire if you don’t stay on top of regular maintenance, so remember to check your oven for signs that it’s time for a cleaning and remove buildup every three months to stay on the safe side.
