Strong Rock Pavers

The most positive thing we have to say is that everyone was nice. The work, however, was a different matter. First, they warned us that there could be lot-to-lot variation in brick color. We were ready for that but our crew wasn't. The result is an unattractive splotchiness that even the crew who sealed our pavers found unacceptable. They won't be choosing to show any photos of our finished work on their portfolio. Second, the company fails to provide toilet facilities for their workers. We have three watchdogs in our home. We're not in a position to cover that obligation. Further, the guys didn't have goggles, face masks or gloves despite really extensive concrete dust in the air. We thought it abusive and were not comfortable. We mentioned it to our salesman to no avail. All communication had to be via iPhone Google Translate, and the project manager showed up only once and at that, for the first time two hours after the crew had arrived. We've hired decorative paver work before. I'm afraid this result was only marginally acceptable. Nice people, though. We did appreciate that.

Work was exceptional. Knowledgeable installers. Work performed timely. We are completely sasisfied with our new patio and would not hesitate to hire Strong Rock Pavers again.

I would recommend Strong Rick Pavers to anyone interested in pavers. We had Erik help us through the selection process and he was very easy to deal with. He gave us exactly what we were looking for with no high pressure upsale attempt. The installers were punctual and professional and did a remarkable job.

We received a very professional mailout about this company. Called and they sent Sam out to give an estimate. He was very personable, and friendly. He explained the process and made very good suggestions and made us excited about doing the project. He answered ALL our questions and concerns and we found him great to work with. We felt the price was very reasonable as well. Ours was a small project and we found most other companies hesitant to commit and most never even called back. Sam made us feel they really wanted to do the project and were anxious to get moving on it as if the project was important to them as if it were a major deal. I would call them anytime I had a similar project. Also, all the workers worked very hard and did a very nice professional job and they did it amazingly fast. I would refer them to anyone and already have. One of my neighbors is now very interested after seeing the finished project. Sam was great through the whole process. I'd let him marry my daughter if I had one that wasn't already married.

Strong Rock Pavers did a great job! The one potential issue is that the work was scheduled for late September / early October (five weeks out), and they actually completed the work by mid September. The reason it was a potential issue is that we were out the entire time, and someone dropped the ball to tell us they could/would start early -- although someone may have knocked on our door when we were out, we were only contacted after they removed our asphalt driveway and wanted to someone to review the look of the initial installation. As you might imagine, we had mixed feelings about the early installation timing, having to rely on photos and facetime to follow how it was going during our absence. Nevertheless, in the end, no issues, and a beautiful installation four weeks ahead of schedule.

Our experience with Strong Rock Pavers exceeded everything we could imagine! We met with Sam who was very helpful in explaining all our options. Sam was very open to our needs and requirements. As a bonus he made excellent suggestions to enhance our ideas. He also pointed out possible future additions to our back yard that would enhance the overall look. The crew assigned to our project were fantastic! During the project the Team Leader would always bring to our attention possible issues or problems to be resolved with our approval. He found a drip irrigation tube that had not been capped during the previous paver work causing a significant wet spot under the old pavers. In addition he modified the original plans for one section so that it would be the same width as the other sections, something we thought was not possible due to a garden planter in the area. His attention to detail was well appreciated all throughout the project. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up with the tools, equipment, and pavers organized for the next day. At the end of the project, they cleaned up everything. All trash and extra materials were removed. The sand and road base remaining in the street were swept up and thrown away. The empty paver pallets were hauled away. The old pavers, which were not used for this project, were brushed off and neatly stacked on a pallet ready for my nephew to pick up.

The pavers look fantastic and the quality of work was excellent. The snow melt system worked great during a particularly harsh winter. The project start was delayed when the supplier of the pavers in Nevada shipped a batch of pavers which were the incorrect color. This was corrected and was not the fault of Strong Rock Pavers. We have been very pleased with the finished product and their work.

We are astonished at how beautiful our patio is, it has transformed our backyard into an oasis that will be the center of family gatherings forever! I honestly cannot say enough good about the service, design, or attention to detail from the incredibley hard working crew that did all of this work. Sam and Eric were very responsive and John and the rest of the work crew were incredible. There was no smoking and joking around by these guys. They got here in the early morning and left late at night. I would yell from the mountains if I could to share the news about Strong Rock Pavers! We love our Pavers!

Installation is beautiful! Cost is higher than I wanted to pay, but very comparable to other bids and the outcome is amazing. They were also willing to work with my HOA which can be tedious, drawings were approved prior to installation and they kept clutter to a minimum. The only setback is that there is some broken concrete left under my deck that I can't remove. It isn't obvious, but I wish it had been hauled away with the other scrap. They were able to complete the work ahead of the promise date which was greatly appreciated!! One bit of advise would be to cut the stone with a wet saw to cut down on the particulate during installation. I would hire them again without hesitation I am very happy with my high quality paver patio and the customer service I received. Thank you!!

We thought the job would be challenging given the uneven slope of the back yard. But the crew did an amazing job leveling everything and was fast at getting the job done.

They got the walkways and porches done very quickly! Also, they are quick to respond with texts or phone calls!

We had "We Love Our Pavers" (a.k.a. "Strong Rock Pavers") do the front yard work described above and they did a great job. The pavers were straight, looked good, and have lasted for almost two years so far without any problems at all. It's really difficult to find good companies to do house or yard work these days for some reason and so it was a great relief to see the first time result end up looking so good. Since we had this work done back in 2015, we've been through almost two winters and summers with these pavers and they still look great. They have stayed in place (no sinking) and they have remained even and flat. Sam, who worked with us two years ago is now working with us to plan to do our driveway potentially later this year. We won't work with anyone else for pavers. Once we've found someone good, we stick with them and we've found someone good for pavers in "We Love Our Pavers".

It went great. While my house was still under construction, Sam came out and met me at the house. We walked the yard together. I communicated my needs and roughly my ideas of what I wanted. He came up with a rough design on the ground outlining size and then drew it up and priced it right there on the spot. Once I decided what I wanted he even worked with my builder so that it could be financed into the build and purchase of my new home which made it so much easier. Later in the Spring once I was getting my landscaping done I decided that it would look better and for the yard and long term maintenance of the patio if I put in a retaining wall around it due to the steep drop at the end of the patio. Sam came back out and quickly got the retaining wall finished with steps as spring was starting and business was getting really busy again. There have been a few small warranty/repair needs along the way since installation - when needed they won't make it out there the next day but will also come back and fix a loose paver or areas where settling occurred.

They showed up and got the job done faster than we thought, although that came with a price..since the job had numerous mistakes. The things we specifically requested were not all met and the crew left many problems. We had to have them come back to fix these, and in doing so..further problems were created! We are 'still' waiting for those problems to be fixed. This isn't rocket science and they should have the experience to do the job correct the first time. Many things were done sloppily and obvious things that should have been done, never happened. Once they take your money, it is near 'impossible' to get them to return to fix the errors they left. Interestingly, Sam was quick in setting the 'first appointment to get our business' and promised to do a fantastic job. But it has been an ongoing problem to get him to come back out to fix the issues they created once and for all. We recommend not paying in full until they have done the kind of job that they promised up front..otherwise you will just sit and wait for them to make things right. We can not in good faith recommend them unfortunately.

As a follow up (11/14/14): After continued numerous attempts to contact this company (phone, texts, certified mail), they still have not contacted us. We had an expert in this industry who came to our home and they verified that Strong Rock failed to do things right. We also found out that the address listed online for Strong Rock is false. They have not been at that address for at least 3 years. We have since spoke with some reputable contractors who say that other paver companies are much better (wish we had known). This company is a sham..they tell you they guarantee their work, but it is hogwash. The salesperson Sam is just a fast talker, and the owner Elio Vianna does not back up his own words. Do not waste your money and time with this outfit. We are currently filing complaints with numerous state agencies and will not stop until our money is returned, even if we have to take this to court.

We are extremely pleased with the quality and look of our new driveway. Sam provided excellent service from original cost estimate, design recommendations, installation supervision and project follow up. He was quick to respond with our questions and concerns. Our project started on time and all work was completed as originally planned. The installation crew worked very long days to ensure an on-time completion . If our future plans include rock work, we will be sure to contact Strong Rock Pavers. Thank you, Sam!

They came out and asked a lot of questions about what we wanted. There are a lot of options about look and feel with pavers so they took our feedback and actually took us to some of their client sites. They gave us a quote and we chose to use them. They met our expectations; they were on time with the estimates and they did the work efficiently.
