APX ALARM SECURITY SYSTEMS

Everything went well. They are working with our neighborhood association with a special program. They primarily use cellular service to communicate with dispatch, which is more reliable. They are very accommodating, and they were able to configure a system to coordinate the alarm in my mother-in-law suite with the system in my main home, which I appreciated. We have been very happy with them so far.

They are very courteous, and right on time. I have been extremely satisfied with my service from APX and have zero complaints. They are easy to get a hold of and get right out when you need them to.

I did not like the experience at all. They took a total of 4 hours when they had quoted me 1.5. They were kids and one was in training and he was on the phone arguing about getting paid. I didn t shop around but I am sure I could have gotten the same or better service.

We were solicited by a door-to-door salesperson for this company. Initially the salesperson was aggressive which could be intimidating to some. I stopped his 'pitch' and told him that if he had some information to leave, I would review it and he could return in about a half-hour to discuss it with me. He did so, in a very friendly manner. I reviewed the information. I checked the corporate website and the Better Business Bureau, at his suggestion, I might add. What I did do on my own accord was to check with the company to ensure he represented them. He returned about three-quarters of an hour later. We decided to install a 13-point wireless alarm under a monitoring agreement of 3 years for $45 per month. The salesperson was professional and courteous. The installer was out of window decals when he installed the system. I wrote a quick email to customer support and was answered by their V.P. in Operations. He stated he would get these out to me that day. I hope to receive these soon.

THEY CAME IN HONEYWELL UNIFORMS & CAPS. THEY GAVE US EVERY IMPRESSION THIS WAS A CONTINUATION AND UPGRADE OF OUR SERVICE WITH HONEYWELL, WHICH WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED. THEY MADE AN INTERESTING OFFER, WHICH WE ACCEPTED. WE THEN DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS AN OUT OF TOWN COMPANY WITH NO LOCAL PRESENCE. THEY HIRE COLLEGE KIDS AND TRAVEL FROM TOWN TO TOWN. THEY REMOVED OUR HONEYWELL HARDWARE AND DESTROYED IT (WE FOUND THIS OUT LATER). THEY BASICALLY SWITCHED US TO ANOTHER MONITORING COMPANY, WITH DIFFERENT EQUIPMENT, UNDER COMPLETELY FALSE PRETENSES. HONEYWELL HAS BEEN FANTASTIC IN HELPING US CORRECT THE ISSUE, AND GET NEW EQUIPMENT TO REPLACE THE DESTROYED ORIGINAL ALARM SYSTEM WE LIKED SO MUCH. THEY SEEM TO BE QUITE ABOUT THE PROCESS OF REMOVING THE EQUIPMENT.
