He gave us a quick assessment on what we needed and gave us the least expensive option initially. After it was determined the problem was more serious he first suggested that we replace both our heating and air conditioning unit because that was the best fix. We could not afford to do that at this time so he gave us another alternative which was just replacing the evaporator coil. He adjusted it to work with our current furnace so later we can afford to buy a new furnace. We liked the fact that he was honest with us in giving us all the options. He gave us a good price as well and came over two or three times.

The guy is really good. They have been great. It did take a while to get it done but we've worked with them for quite a while and they are always honest. Their prices are very fair.

Tom did a great job diagnosing the issue. We had a suspicion the dog was to blame and that was true. He did a thorough evaluation of the system and also took the time to point out other flaws in our original HVAC design that should be corrected. I appreciated that as it didn't feel like a sales job but an actual interest in the home's condition.

My experience with him was okay. He came and kind of did something and it was okay. We went on a vacation and came back a couple of days ago and our air conditioner was broken. I am not sure exactly what happened or what he did. Our first contact with him was good. He was kind and very reasonable. He wasn’t pushy or anything.

The internal unit was checked for dirt/dust build-up. It did not need any major cleaning. He advised to use filters with ridges and especially not the one which were being currently used. The external unit was pressure wash cleaned. The external unit had to be leveled. It was low on Freon gas and it was added. Plants close to the unit was advised to be removed. The A/C was switched on and made to run. The cooling effect was good. He was knowledgeable and experienced. He explained each step he was doing and provided tips on how to take simple care. He followed basic etiquette of removing footwear before entering the home (thus, did not bring in the muddy boots on the carpet).

For months our A/C air flow has been anemic. The unit (less than one year old) would run all day and all night and just couldn't keep up with the demand for cool air. We called on the company that installed it several times to come find out what was wrong with it. Each time we got a new story from a different technician. Finally, the last tech that came out told us that we needed a new furnace and a new hot water heater. What? Do I really look that stupid? So then, I called Tom. He has years and years of experience. He patiently listened while I explained the problem. He went to our basement, opened the utility closet, put his hands on a few mysterious looking parts, hummed a little, opened the compartment that holds the air filter, chuckled quietly, and said softly, "I think that this might do the trick." The filter was new, but installed in a way that made it only 66% effective. He re-inserted it at an angle and within minutes the house was cooling off! Experience!
